We use Mike's Bremen Service for furnace and air conditioning check ups/cleaning annually. They are punctual and call before arriving as scheduled. They just replaced our air conditioner as our 18 year old unit was leaking freon and it would have cost more to repair and likely have issues. The new unit is excellent, more energy efficient and cools the house easily. They also recommended we purchase the thick cover for the unit to help keep it free of snow/ice and damage for the winter. The cover is very well made and straps on like a glove. Mike and his staff are all great. Very pleasant, polite and professional. My wife and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mike's Bremen Service to all!

My home is 12 years old so I wanted to have my heating and air conditioner inspected to see if it needed to be updated. My brother had recently did this so I asked him who he had do this and if he was satisfied with the service. He recommended Mike's Bremen Service so I called them . They scheduled an appointment and on the day they were to come we had a problem with our air conditioner. They came and repaired it along with evaluating our equipment. They were very professional and advised me that the furnace was in good condition but the air conditioner was not big enough for the size of our house and recommended it be replaced. They quoted a very competitive price so I asked them to install the new unit. Within 2 weeks they installed the new unit and were very efficient and careful in doing this work. With the very warm summer we have experienced this year the new equipment has kept our home comfortable as well as reduced our electric bill. I highly recommend Mike's Bremen Service.

Back on 8-28-2012 Mr [redacted] called to have us install an attic fan with 30ft of electric in a very...

difficult attic (no flooring, balance between rafters)fast forward to 8-1-2014. we were called to clean & check air conditioner and check attic fan due to not hearing it run. Serviceman [redacted] cleaned and checked a/c and adjusted vent dampers for 2nd floor, then went up into attic to see if attic fan was running, found out motor was locked up, remember this is a very difficult attic to get to attic fan. So [redacted] stated we will have to get a new attic fan & check manufactures warranty and come back. Mr [redacted] stated we seemed hesitant which I think he is hyper sensitive to just about every conversation that takes place. We were not hesitant we just wanted to make sure it was or wasn't working & trying to save service call for customers because most people don't hear attic fan running when they generally are, so that's what we kind of lean towards.
When we changed the attic fan on 8-7-14 we came into the kitchen area and waited for 1/2 hour while Mrs [redacted] was talking to someone else, never asked if there was any charge, so I gave her the bill for 350.00 and she didn't say anything & we continued to wait , then finally she said I will have my husband take care of it and call you. Mr [redacted] called back about the 250.00 bill , I sensed by his tone and lack of conversation that he wasn't happy with the charge. so I told Mr [redacted] I would see if I could get any money off If I return the motor and call him back. I called back 4 5 days later and left a message on the their phone, no response. I called back a couple days later again and left another message to see where they were with the bill, trying to get a feeling to their thinking, still no response. That is when I called back at 7:30 am and tried to talk to Mrs [redacted] and she wasn't wantig to talk about it and deferred to Mr [redacted] and said he will call you, that's when I stated you don't seem to want to pay the bill? Not confrontational or demanding just wanting a response which all she did ws defere to Mr [redacted]. I said that is fine you just need to communicate that to us. Mrs [redacted] left me hanging never stated if she was unhappy about anything. so I left her house and previous conversation confused.Mr [redacted] also never said anything about being unsatisfied until I received this email from Revdex.com informing me so.Never had the conversation about being unhappy just vague, elusive then going to Revdex.com.
So I was right when I sensed their indifference but they never communicated anything one way or the other, That is why I was trying to get a response over three not returned messages of what their intentions where.
Another thing the original service call ticket never stated furnace check they only said a/c was not cooling and to check attic fan. When we came back to install attic fan [redacted] asked Mr [redacted] if a/c was working better and he said YES.
We are at the mercy of the manufactures and the products the produce, I cant help the fan didn't last 2 years. I didn't make it. But as far as installing a new motor I wont do that for nothing, It is a tough attic, 100 degrees, 2 story roof and hard to maneuver which comes with risk physically. There is little profit for this type of repair or job. I will re think every time I do one from now on. Travel time with man hours is 4 hours - not worth it. nobody would do it for that cheap. This complaint is baseless and a mark with Revdex.com for a silly misunderstood reasons, brought on by Mr & Mrs [redacted]'s lack of communication with us.
Lastly I called Mr [redacted] about the complaint 8-14-14 told him I wish he would have told me his thoughts. And lowering bill to 250.00 due to motor under warranty. Mr [redacted] said he would pay the bill. Today is 8-27-14 and I have not received any payment as of yet. Sincerely Mike [redacted]

My complaint to Revdex.com about Mike's Bremen Service stands as initially stated. The response from Mr [redacted] is almost comical as the information stated is either embellished, omitted, or just false. Mr [redacted] called me on 8-22-2014 after receiving the complaint from Revdex.com. He told me that he couldn't believe I would get Revdex.com involved with my issue. I believe my complaint to Revdex.com clearly stated my issue with the unfair practices of Mike's Bremen. The initial installation of my attic fan on 8-28-2014 should never have happened. Mike was there to give me a quote. I had him do the work and agreed to the price of $580 after he told me they had cut the hole in my roof and were installing the fan. I never agreed to a price prior to work being done but had him finish what was started and paid him. I thought there was a problem with the fan and paid $129 for an A/C check just to get someone out to check the fan. Mr [redacted] stated several times that they don't like to check the fans because usually people are wrong about it being out. Once the fan was determined to be broken, there was never any discussion about cost, only that they would be back to replace the fan. Once again, the work was done, without an agreement, and I received a bill for $350 more. Mr. [redacted] did not know what the warranty was initially, which seemed strange that he would not know the products he installs, and it took several days for him to attempt to call me about the warranty. My phone was not working from the weekend of 8-15-2014 as my wife explained to Mr. [redacted] on 8-19-2014 at 7:30am. We had been waiting to hear back from Mr. [redacted] about the fan warranty and when he called, he harassed my wife about the bill. She told him about the phone being out over the weekend, the fact that she was trying to get the kids off to school, and that I would call him shortly. He continued to harass her. I called his office an hour later. Mr. [redacted] now complains about how hard the job was, how he would never do a job "that cheap", and about how sensitive we have been to his harassing calls and letters. He also states how I told [redacted] that my A/C was working better. I never spoke to [redacted] and actually told Mike that my A/C was working fine to begin with. My complaint to Revdex.com is to warn consumers not to use Mike's Bremen Service because of our treatment from them. The fact that their business practices include doing work without being told or not having a quote until after work is done seems a normal practice for them. When you question the price, you can expect to get an argumentative response from them.

Our AC brOkeechobee and we called around for quotes. Mike's price was the best and service was completed in a timely manner. Everyone that helped us was very friendly. My mom used them 2 weeks later to replace her account and furnace. She said they were great to work with.

I have had Mike's Bremen service my furnaces, AC units and appliances for over 8 years now. The owners are very hands on and personable! Mike's Bremen has always given me a good price and clean, professional work.

We are very pleased with the service we receive from Mike's Bremen and we would refer them to our friends and family.

I have used Mike's Bremen for all my repairs. They are extremely professional and trustworthy.

called for a dryer repair, repairman diagnosed, wrongly, a gas valve needed replacing, ordered the part, two days later a different repairman came with the new valve and after 1 minute diagnosed it was not the gas valve. after assessing the control board and finding "nothing obvious like a burned or charred terminal" but I'll order you a new one as the dryer(without clothes in it) keeps shutting off after 4 minutes. I suggested we put wet clothes in so the dampness sensor would read wet clothes.The dryer then ran the full cycle and dried the items perfectly. next day a lady from mike's called to see if the repair was satisfactory. I told her no repair was needed, wrongly diagnosed by two of their repairmen and I would like my service charge returned. she adamantly refused to refund my service charge and after about 3 minutes of her explaining that two repairmen had come to my house , they were only charging me for one and she considered that a bargain! she told me that if I needed to call them back within 30 days they wouldn't charge a service fee. I would never use their service again and strongly recommend you don't either!

Very professional and quick service.

We recently had Mike's Bremen install a new furnance and as always they did an excellent job. We have been using this business for at least 10 years and can't say enough good things about them. They have installed 2 sumps pumps, serviced our refrigerator, and helped us keep our heat and air conditioning in good working shape by perfoming maintenance check-ups. Our best experience was calling Mike's Bremen on Thanksgiving Day a few years back when we were hosting the Holiday and our furnance stopped working. Mike came out that Holiday morning and fixed the problem. There was no extra charge for coming out on the Holiday and Mike made us feel that this was no inconvenience although we knew he could be at his own home enjoying the Holiday. Mike's staff is professional, always on time and neat with all of their work. I wouldn't trust anyone else with our heating, air conditioning or appliances.

Mike diagnosed our original problem a year ago. The 23 year old A-frame (heat exchanger) in basement was leaking coolant. Needed replacement. Mike was only contractor to present us with option to replace just the A-frame, knowing that the outside AC unit was still operational. We chose the lower cost option. A year later the outdoor unit went out also. Called Mike back and he changed out the unit. Total cost was competitive, even though the work turned out to be more of a hassle for Mike. Really pleased with the work, price and extra effort to be fair and try to extend life of existing system. Because of all of this, Mike and his team will get our 2nd unit when it eventually goes out. By the way, all communications and response time during the middle of the hot August time period was fast. Trustworthy business.

We cannot say enough on how pleased we are with every aspect of service we received from Mike's Bremen Service. The pricing was very reasonable, the workers prompt and courteous. They cleaned up and we are very pleased with our new high efficiency furnace and air conditioner. We also had them out to repair our kitchen range, pleased with that as well. I would highly recommend Mike's Bremen service. AAA+++

Mike's Bremen Service was prompt, proficient and professional. My air conditioner went out on a Monday morning and I called Mike and he asked me all the specifics of my air conditioner, he had one that would be sufficient for my particular system and he was out that same afternoon to install unit. I would highly recommend Mikes Bremen Service.
