I received cigars in poor condition. Emailed customer service with no response.

We received your email on Saturday 10/5/19 at 5:07pm, although customer service was closed, your complaint was addressed by management on the following day Sunday. In which we wrote: "We deeply apologize if there's a problem with this box. We will be happy to get it back from you and replace with a new box. How many cigars did you smoke please?" Did you not receive this response? You've been our customer for over a year and we want to help you. Please call us at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. Thank you

Buying cigars there for years, never had 1 problem and prices are usually the cheapest on the interent even after shipping/taxes included.

I ordered 2 5-packs of cigars from Mike's on 12/08/2018 and I smoked one of the H Upmann Lonsdale's a month or so later. This was after the return period but I only smoke about 1 cigar a month. The cigar was wrapped so tightly that I had to run a skewer through it, it was harsh and the taste wasn't very good. The second one's taste was better but it wasn't what you would expect from Upmann for the price. And I had to skewer it also.

On 1/25/19 I emailed Mike's customer support that I would like a refund or credit of 24.95 + tax for the Upmann's. I figured the tax to be 48% (3.36) of the total tax (6.99) so I asked for a refund of 28.31. They said that they hadn't received any complaints about the H. Upmann and they would give me a 10.00 CREDIT, which they did. They also said that when you try a new cigar you accept certain risks...You may not like the new cigar, it may be a harder draw, taste may be odd etc. That is why they offer their cigars in boxes, in 5-packs and, in SINGLE stick option. The whole reason I changed to using Mike's was their good selection of 5-packs! So I didn't feel this was much of an excuse.

I responded that I had been trying to be polite about the matter but I disagreed with some of their conclusions. I told them that I did believe it was possible they hadn't received any complaints on the Upmann's. But I didn't consider it a case of having to assume risk when trying new cigars but a case of product quality instead. And I've smoked better cigars that I bought in a grocery store for a lot less!

When I didn't get total satisfaction I searched for someone higher up to hear my story. I found
*** Ben Arie, President, and CEO, and emailed him twice but didn't get any replies. I would like to get another credit of 18.31 (total of 28.31 - 10.00 credit I have received).

We already gave customer $10 CREDIT. He already used the credit on another order

I got the $10 CREDIT and will gladly accept the additional $15 CREDIT. That should take care of the bad-tasting H. Upmann's in the order. I told them that I didn't have any problems with the Punch cigars in the order so I had no complaints about them. I just hope that they give some serious consideration to what they need to do about when a customer gets some bad cigars, regardless of when he reports it, the reputation of the cigar maker, etc. Thanks for the additional credit.

Well, you're not going to believe it but the people at Mike's took my order but I couldn't get the discount applied. After 2 attempts to let them know and fix it, I called and was told that the discount only applied to orders of $50 or more!!!!! I hung up on the rep and proceeded to email them a scorching reply asking them to revise my charge for the order(I only spent about $36) or to cancel the order and pay for the return postage. That was on Monday. Needless to say, they haven't bothered to send a speedy reply. After this last fiasco is over I'm probably going to close my account and will definitely file another complaint with you. Thanks for all of your help!

Terrible product even worse customer service. Working with credit card company to get refund. Would not recommend using.
