Mike's Furniture Store

Review: I went in to this store to ask about having some radiator covers built and was given a rough estimate.. and was then told they would come and measure for $150 and that would be deducted from the price. The price initially seemed reasonable.

So, the guy came and measured and would only take a check or cash for the measuring... After a week of not hearing back, I had to call the store three times for the final cost... and to my surprise was told there was an installation fee almost equal to the price of the unit making the total with staining etc. 25% more than my contractor quoted me. RIP OFF CITY...

Bait and Switch for sure. The woman in the store NEVER told me there was an installation charge, denied it up and down and refused to accept she never told me this. I asked for my money back and she refused. There was no apology nor compromise, just telling me I was wrong... Imagine..

She also said the price for installation was 10% less if paid in cash so it sounds like someone may not be reporting the income for tax purposes

This store is unresponsive, rude and they are liars.

Imagine if you did that to one of your customers or clients. They would fire you on the spot which is what I did.Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund the $150 I spent on the measurement. Had I known there was an installation charge to double the price I would not have had them come.
