The owner did give the customer an approximate quote of $350.00 at the time he met with the customer for the estimate.  The customer was given a firm price of $330.00 which was accepted.  The customer stipulates this in the complaint.  This is the first time we have heard any complaints regarding the quality of the work.  There were no complaints regarding the quality of the work upon completion of the work, at the time the customer sent payment in full, or in the initial Revdex.com complaint.  So we feel that the customer is now searching for complaints that are not valid.  The customer's job was completed in the rain but that is only because the customer insisted that we come out to the property on the specific day that we did.  Otherwise we would have waited for a dryer day.  The customer called our office and demanded that we be at the property and complete the work on the rainy day in question.  Once again, the customer is not referring to the accurate amount of time that our workers spent on the property and once again the customer is not taking into account the dump truck that was on the property, the cost of dumping the several deep rooted shrubs, the travel time to and from the dump site, and the travel time to and from the job site.  Not that these factors are really relevant in that the customer was given a flat rate price as requested, not an hourly price.  The price was accepted, the work was completed without any quality complaints until these new invalid complaints, and payment in full was sent in by the customer.  We do not renegotiate the terms of a job after the job is completed.  The customer was kept informed every step of the way by our office and we have the phone records to prove it.  We considered this matter closed once the customer admitted to our staff that the work was ordered, the price was given, the work was completed, and the bill was paid in full.  At no time during any conversation with our staff were any complaints about the quality of the work presented.  So the price that both parties agreed upon before the work commenced stands. The customer admits to this in the complaint stating, "Yes, I agreed to the job and for $330.00."  Thank you for your attention to this matter and please feel free to contact us if there are any further question regarding this matter.

I was never giving a price of $350.00 originally. The price I was giving was $330.00 originally and a Diane his Secretary called me and told me the price [redacted] never gave me a price or even bothered to call me and talk to me as professional
man. After multiple calls left that I wanted to talk to [redacted] the owner he never ever returns peoples calls no matter what.  I also am not happy of the work done and he said I was which is a lie. His workers came to remove the roots not bushes on a rainy
day which they traveled mud all over my driveway and on my sidewalk cause of the rain. I had to was everything once the job was completed in just about less than fiftteen minutes.  I disagree on the amount charged cause I honestly don't think
that this job was worth that amount at all.  I don't know what happened but I feel that after being a regular customer for so many years I feel that [redacted] was just charging me personally a high price so that I wouldn't go back to him. Don't know why
but I got that impression.  Yes, I agreed to the job and for $330.00 but after seeing how long and how simple it really was it was no way that much money I'm sorry and everyone that I have spoken to agreed with me as well.
[redacted] and his staff are not professional people there customer service is really awful and he doesn't respect people at all with just a phone call back. I would like a refund of some sort back to me. This is totally wrong for what he charged me and
he shouldn't get a way with it.
I am sorry to say he has lost me as a regular customer dont know if he even cares. But I would never refer his company to anyone of my friends, relatives, family. I will make sure people don't use him cause he should of been more reasonable with me since I was a regular customer for years. He took advantage of me and I don't take that from anyone. Thank you

On 5/15/2014 the customer called and requested an estimate for the removal of several deep rooted shrubs.  The owner of the company went out to the estimate personally and quoted the customer a price of approximately $350.00 which the customer was satisfied with.  The owner then told the...

customer that he would firm up the numbers and call back with an exact amount.  Once the numbers were calculated it was determined that the job should be priced at $330.00.  So the quote was lowered from the approximate quote previously given to the customer and the customer was given a final price of $330.00.  The customer accepted the final price and the work was completed on 5/28/2014 at which time the customer was present at the time the work was completed and was happy with the end result.  At any time between 5/14/2014 and 5/28/2014 the customer could have expressed any opinions about price or gender.  The truth of the matter is that not once was either of these claims ever mentioned or brought forward until it came time to pay the bill and then the customer called and admitted that she did authorize this work at this price but continued to try and bully our staff into lowering the price even though she admitted several times to our office that she did agree to the price and the scope of the work. We did this customer the courtesy of not having to put down a deposit which we do generally require so the payment was due in full upon completion of the work.  The customer tried to renegotiate the price after the job had been completed.  The customer was given a firm price as requested, the price was accepted by the customer, and the work was completed without any complaints regarding the quality of the work.  We do not renegotiate the terms or the price of a job after completion of the job. Furthermore, the customer is not giving the accurate time that our workers spent on the property, nor is the customer accounting for the dump truck that was on the property, the dumping of the deep rooted shrubs that were removed, the travel time to and from the job and to and from the dump site.  But this does not matter because the customer was given a flat rate price as requested, not an hourly rate.  In regards to the customer's statement that he/she was taken advantage of because of their gender, we find that statement to be deeply offensive and completely false.  The customer tried to renegotiate the terms of the agreement after the work had been completed.  We simply do not do that irregardless of gender.  A price was quoted for the work, the price was accepted by the customer, and the work was completed without any complaints regarding the quality of the work.  Therefore, the price that both parties agreed upon before the work commenced stands. Our company has been in business for over 33 years and we still have our original customers from over 33 years ago which are in a large majority women so we are extremely outraged by the customer's inference that gender had anything to do with this job.  Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.  If there are any further questions regarding this matter please feel free to contact us at anytime.
