Purchased a grill cover in black three (3) months ago from the cover storeIt is faded considerably in that short timeIt was an upgraded elite material purchasedWhen I contacted The Cover Store I was told they would look into the fading and warrantyI was emailed and told I would get a "one time" replacementAlmost as if I was being scoldedThe Cover Store offered a different color of same quality replacementThey could not offer it to me in blackSaid it was no longer offeredIt's only been a few months since my purchaseThey asked that I pay an additional $for the highest quality replacement in black because they didn't have mine in stockThey also offered the lowest quality replacement in black at same price I paidNever offered a credit at anytime or a credit to replace mine with a lesser quality black coverBlack is what I purchased and requested and at no time did they make me feel satisfied with the solution or acknowledge that the cover I purchased was faultyI expressed that I was an unhappy customer at that point and would let future customers know to beware
Purchased a cover for my Weber Grille from The Cover Store in April 2015. The cover is leaking. I called to inquire about the warranty and was told the Cover Store's products are "water resistant" as opposed to waterproof and the leak is not a defect. I am not sure why anyone would purchase a leaking grille cover that is "water resistant". I erroneously assumed a grille cover would be designed and built to be waterproof. Buyer Beware. The original cover from Weber lasted 3 years and began cracking from the Atlanta UV exposure, but it never leaked before the cracks appeared. I am ordering another Weber cover which is "waterproof" as well as "water resistant".
I want to update a recent review I made regarding the tie string/draw chords that became brittle and broke within 8 months purchase of my covers. In addition to The Cover Store replacing one of my covers because of this issue, I also received on 9-6-16 an overnight package from the The Cover Store containing 3 sets of replacement chords. This arrived within a day or two of me writing my first review. I believe it is fair that I report this and emphasize that The Cover Store has tried very hard to rectify my issues. However, I am still suspicous of the quality of the new draw chords since they appear to be the same as the originals. Therefore, although I appreciate The Cover Store sending me new chords, I will replace the original draw chords with a higher quality polyester draw chord that will last. The draw chords may not match my cover but at least I will not have to replace them in a matter of months.
