Mike's Off Road

[redacted] Brought his Jeep to us in October to have an Old Man Emu suspension system installed. We had given [redacted] a quote on install and price of the system if bought from us at an earlier date, but he purchased the suspension system elsewhere. parts for warranty reasons but at that point we decided we would install the parts because the customer did not have another option. The kit was installed and we were able to do a front end alignment on the vehicle but due to alignment machine issues we were not able to check the rear end alignment. When the vehicle was picked up the customer was told that even though the rear of the vehicle shouldn't need any changes to the alignment we could only check the front so he wouldn't be charged for the alignment that done on the front end. The customer was not happy that we had taken around 6 hours to get the vehicle done and wanted us to discount the labor that was done even after not charging him for the front end alignment. In the end the customer did pay his bill and left but was not happy. The only time that the vehicle was entered was for the test drive and two boxes were removed from the back of the vehicle because the mechanic that was helping was under the assumption that the top of the rear shocks were only accessible from removable panels inside of the jeep like they are on some of the other vehicles we work on. After finding this to not be the case the boxes were then placed back into the vehicle. After leaving our shop [redacted] decided to write a review on our facebook account claiming we had done things to the inside of his vehicle to sabotage him and had stolen things too. We politely replied to his review apologizing for his bad experience and he wrote a reply back claiming more things had been done to him that were not true. From what I could tell the customer did not fully understand our explanation of the alignment when he picked up the vehicle and was angry that we didn't get the jeep done fast enough for the price. We did not charge the customer any extra money to do the job, he was given a free front end alignment and we do not believe that the claims being made are true. We would be happy to talk to the customer in person and try to resolve the issues like we do with most of our customers  with issues. We normally will give a customer with proven issues having to do with our work their money back but without actually seeing the vehicle in person we cannot confirm the problems.
