The customer came in to order and pay for her meat pack on July 7, just as she claims.  From there, however, our versions of the story differ greatly.  The customer called numerous times to make additional requests about her order, but it wasn't until 7/8 at about 3:00 that I spoke to her...

myself (I am the owner) and she revealed that she was planning to use the meat for a concession at the Bear Paw Festival, that I found a problem with her order.  As she admits, she used her Quest card to pay for the order.  It is illegal to use the Quest card to purchase food other than for personal consumption.  Using a Quest card to purchase food for a commercial enterprise is fraud, and we will not be a part of it.  We explained this to her when she came in to pick up her order, and told her that we would refund her money.  Unfortunately, the process is very cumbersome, and it can take 10 days or more to get the money back on the card.  This is not our fault; it is the way the system is designed.  She then demanded a cash refund, which is also illegal, and when she didn't get it, she called the police.  The police determined that we were merely preventing fraud, so they left.  She has since reported us to the Division of Public Assistance, who will explain to her that commercial purchases with a Quest card are illegal.  As to her allegations of mistreatment based on her gender or skin color, that is utter nonsense and unworthy of comment.  She is angry and throwing out any complaint she can think of, because she knows she is in the wrong.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I never spoke to him at all he is fabricating this I spoke to a sales man at counter three weeks before one time when I was paying cash. its not his business what I do with the meat or anything else I pay for. I never mention any thing to him. it was greg who told me I had a commercial kitchen which he assume to be true. however he is wrong , I called police on him he is trying to pretend I spoke to him. I did not.I had been buying meat for three weeks with my cash.He has been reported for theft and fraud. the fact of the matter is I do not have my refund on my card nor the meat. he has no right to tell me what I can and cant do. In his head its ok to do what he is doing. bad customer service. he made me miss a day at my job and lost wages .He is not s social worker nor a case manager. Inever spoke to him until ui came to pick up my order.this is not going to be an ongoing rebuttal to his lie. I need to buy food and have no money. the state of Alaska is aware of his fraud. it takes a few minutes to credit my account.what ever reasoning he tries to stand by is from hearsay and did not come from me.Sincerely,[redacted]
