Review: I was recommended to Mike's Transmission to repair my Ford F150. The truck was at Mike's shop for a 7 weeks for the initial rebuilt of the transmission. A couple of days after picking up the truck, it started to have issues. I took it back a 2nd time, he kept it 5 days, says that he repaired it. 2 days later it started with the same problem like that 1st time after I picked it up. Took it back again, he kept it 2 weeks once again and after picking it up, it started with the same problem once again. I personally took Mike for a drive so that he could feel the problem for himself, because obviously he was not finding the problem (which he stated he had repaired), then he finally agreed that there was a problem. This time, he kept the truck from November 26, 2013 thru January 15, 2014. He kept telling that he was working on it, always putting me off for the 2 months he had the truck. Finally, after picking it up the last time, if was fine for the first couple of days, then once more, the problem was there. I have not gone back to the shop because I am not satisfied with the work that was done and time I had been without the truck. I was subjected to borrow cars from different family members in order to get around and sometimes not being able to get around because a lack of car.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the truck transmission repaired correctly. I do not want to take it back to Mike's Transmission. I don't want to be without a car for an additonal 2 months. I want it to be repaired by the Ford Dealer directly and bill to be paid by Mike's Transmission, as the transmission is under warranty by him.

First I would like to appologize for the delay of repair after rebuiliding transmission customer complaints of Harsh 1-2 Shift- not all the time being an intermittent problem it was hard to detect problem. Customer did not notify me the problem still existed I am willing to replace transmisison with a remanufactured unit from the ford dealer in a timely manor as it is cover by my warranty
