We started a reverse mortgage refinance with [redacted] at Resolute Bank in mid August [redacted] provided us with the options available to us immediately He always replied to our emails or phone calls within hours Any questions that came up during the process were always answered promptly He explained the process and the estimated timing of closing [redacted] always kept us updated on the status of our loan Our loan closed the first of Nov as promised It was a seamless process and [redacted] was absolutely the best Specialist to work withWe have also referred him to my sister to look into refinancing their loan We highly recommend [redacted] and Resolute Bank for their expertise and excellent customer service

I received a letter assuring me we were "pre-authorized" for an irrl va loan *** told me we would have the whole thing wrapped up in weeks, so I jumped in and began the process I called him once or twice during that time, did the e-signature thing, and thought everything was going smoothly I discontinued the week mortgage payment plan with our bank when the bank notifed me that a company had inquired about balance pay off and that I should discontinue the pre-authorized payments if I was refinancing
After weeks and no agents coming to our house to sign the closing papers, I called *** again He promised to get right on it and call the financing division to see what was taking so long
After 3-1/weeks, still no word, I called *** again This time he said the hold up was the trust We would have to send him complete compies of our trust He said the house would have to come out of the trust (quit claim) and then could be put back in the trust at a later date, when the refi was completed I checked with my financial advisor who told me what to send, and sent the appropriate papers
The Monday after Thanksgiving I called *** again, yes, he had the the trust papers and would call the financial arm and get the loan approved Only thing was, they were running out of 2.75% money, and it was getting more difficult to get approval
After not hearing from him, I called again the end of the next week Sure enough, Resolute had quit offering yr fixed IRRl loans He thought he had sent me an email (which I did not receive), but he could offer me a 2.75% loan on a year fixed I declined
So, I would discourage anyone from dealing with this bank I regret declining other offers from other banks I regret terminating the withdrawl plan from my bank I regret sending the trust forms, as requested I regret having heard the name *** and Resolute Bank
If this bank calls, run Save yourself the aggravation

We've been dealing with Resolute bank for almost a month now to refinance our homeWe were told it would be finished by now and we wouldn't have to make septembers payment
They have been terrible with communicationI've been told many times I will be emailed, and I'm notOr I've been told they'll call me with info, and they do notIf we weren't so far into their process I would definitely be looking for a different companyThey don't seem to care about helping usI would not recommend them

I have never in my life had to deal with the rudeness and unprofessionalism from a company like I recently had to with Resolute Bank! They started my refinance paperwork in September, they had to have my closing documents done twice because a mistake on a date which was on their partNot to mention last week we receive a call that they aren't unable to fund my refinance due to an error on the application which should have been caught months ago! My husband and I both called *** *** to discuss this, he NEVER gave us the curtsey to call us back! He's assistant is just as rude and very unprofessionalThanks to her and Resolute bank we are now months late on our mortgageI will never do business with them again

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

This individual made contact with Virginia Gift Brands on 05/17/2016. Photos were sent to our Customer Service inbox. On 05/18/2016 internal review began on this claim. The candle had never been burned and discoloration was the concern expressed from this individual. The visual appearance of...

Woodwick candles can change depending on its environment, direct sunlight or in-store lighting in particular. A change in color has zero impact on the fragrancing or burn characteristics of the candle. Since this individual is not a customer of Virginia Gift Brands subject to our return policy but a consumer that had not to our knowledge attempted a return within policy from the location where the candle was purchased, we offered to replace the candle if the customer returned the candle to Virginia Gift Brands. Customer Service discussed this with the customer on 05/23/2016 and confirmed the customers understanding of what needed to be done for a replacement code to be provided. To our knowledge, this candle has never been returned and therefore a code has never been issued. We remain willing to resolve this matter with the customer by issuing a replacement code if they can provide tracking information for the returned candle. Thank you!

Resolute Bank is the worse. We were strung along for months and then told that we have some underlying issues that they can't guarantee would be correctable. I was told that they knew about these issues months ago, but in all communications with them, they were never expressed to us. The communication with [redacted] and [redacted] at this company is horrendous.They don't return calls or e mails. The issue is not that they couldn't help us, the issues are that they should not have strung us along and they should have just simply communicated with us and we would have moved on. For us to be dependent on this money and to be treated so callously is a shame.Please stay as far away from this company as possible
