Ms***,We have talked to Mrs*** about this charge and it has been taken care of.I would like to explain what happened with this Mrs*** called me on June or 10th and advised us that there was a pending charge on her credit cardOur front desk register automatically
pre approves a $charge per night so our guest can charge Dining room , lounge or gift shop back to their roomsSo after our guest leaves these pending charges drop off their accountsThat time frame is governed by their credit card companyMrs*** called to ask what that charge wasI explained it was a pre approval and would drop offShe asked that I call her credit card company and have it removed I explained that I would be glad to try but alot of times the credit card company will not talk to me because of privacy issuesI did get ahold of Mrs***’s credit card company explained the problem and asked that they release the pending holdThe lady I spoke to said no problem she would do that immediatelyI then called Mrs*** and told her it was taken care ofOn Monday June 13th I started vacationI returned to work on June 20th I had missed calls from Mrs***In the phone message Mrs*** asked what kind of a scam I was trying to pull So I had our Assistant General Manager call her back to find out what the problem wasShe said the charges were still pending on her cardOn June 20th I called her credit card company again and was told yes they still had them on there and weren’t sure why the lady didn’t remove them when askedI again asked to have them removedOur Assistant GM then called Mrs*** back and had her check to make sure the charges were in fact goneThis time they were.I honestly thought the problem was taken care of before I left for vacation I certainly didn’t want this to cause Mrs*** any problems.Hope this helps clear things upIf you have any questions please feel free to call me at ###-###-####. That time frame is governed by their credit card company. Mrs. [redacted] called to ask what that charge was. I explained it was a pre approval and would drop off. She asked that I call her credit card company and have it removed.  I explained that I would be glad to try but alot of times the credit card company will not talk to me because of privacy issues.
