Dear [redacted] , Thank you for emailing Consumer Complaint # [redacted] to meI have reviewed the complaint and would like to provide my response below I assisted Ms[redacted] on Sunday May 25, with her selected purchasesShe appeared to be very happy with her items when she left the storeThe next day, when she returned, she told me that she wanted to return all her itemsShe said there was a flaw in one top that she purchasedThough I could not identify the flaw, I told her that we could accept an exchange or offer a store credit because our store policy did not allow for a returnShe began to dispute this policy with me because she told me the law required store sales staff to verbally state their store return policiesI replied that I did not believe that the law required a verbal statement of the return policy and on our sales receipt that she was holding, it states, "All sales final." She told me she would just exchange the top then, but wanted to file a complaintI did attempt to assist her in finding another top for the same price point, which she requested, but she did not appear to like anything I suggestedI am sorry that Ms [redacted] left a disappointed customerAs I explained to her, Mila is a small business and cannot process returns, but we do offer exchanges and store credits for merchandise to try to keep all our clients satisfiedWe will still honor the exchange or issue a store credit if she would like Thank you, [redacted] , Manager Mila

Review: I made a purchase on Sunday, May 25, 2014 and when I got back to my hotel I noticed a flaw in a top that I purchased. I went back to Mila the next day on Monday, May 26, 2014 to return the top and was told by the same salesperson that waited on me the previous that they do not allow returns. I explained to her that I just purchased it and was again told they do not allow returns/refunds and it is noted on their receipts. I expressed she should of verbally told me at time of purchase and I thought by law they would have to have it posted as well. This retail operator does not follow state laws, the salesperson should of verbally told me their policy before I made my purchase and they should have posted. I feel the place of business is a scam because they are taking monies for product knowing no returns are allowed which guarantees all sales. This is unethical and should not be allowed. If you google this establishment there are reviews about Mila on line complaining about the same that happened to me.Desired Settlement: I feel that I should be able to return any and all items purchased.
