Review: On February **, 2014, I purchased Vinyl Sheeting flooring, which was installed on 3-**-14.I have had nothing but problems with it. First, it was not installed under a cabinet, I calledand it was done. I was not told that the length of the carpeting was too short for my kitchen, the installer than had to cut a long peice of it and put it down...it is about twelve feet longor more and is quite unsightly. I was told "too bad." The installer did not put the carpetingunder my dishwasher and never put a tiny strip in front of it, however the intallers removedthe anchors from the dishwasher to the top of the laminate counter top. Because of this,the dishwasher kept titling forward until it totally fell out. I then had to buy a new dishwasher. The merchndise itself is cracked in one area, and is fading in many areas. I began calling Milburn, my salesman was [redacted], about eight times, with no call backsor results. The merchandise is supposed to have a l0 year warranty...I then began calling again in January and out of five calls I did receive one call back on 2-**-15 - the gentleman said he would get back to me, but nothing as yet. I am very disappointed. This cost me $l,461.00.I now have to buy new flooring because of the ugliness of the carpeting. I believe I should get my money back or at least a replacement. However, I am writing to the Better Business because I believe you can help me. Thank you, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I have had so much trouble and no help with this issue, I desire a refund.

Review: Laminate flooring was installed in the den, kitchen and dining room. The seams have buckled and split. I have made attempts to have the floors repaired or replaced by Carpet One. I have a report from [redacted] Plb & Htg that there are no slab or other water leaks. I have a report from LI Carpet Connection that the floor was not installed with a moisture barrier which is required when installing laminate flooring on a slab floor. State Farm Insurance has been contacted about this issue and Suffolk County Consumer Affairs.Desired Settlement: At this point I have no confidence in the work performed by Milburn Carpet One. I would like to have my floors replaced by another flooring company of my choice.

I am responding to your Complaint ID #[redacted] regarding customer [redacted]. The reason for the delay in our response was that we were waiting for an engineer’s report. The report indicated that the problem was caused by improper underlayment under the laminate floor. Our personnel believed they were using the correct material for this application. Since we are at fault on this matter, we will replace this entire floor at no charge to the [redacted].

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], I am happy that they have accepted fault for the improper installation of my floor but I am not comfortable with them replacing the floor so I am going with a a flooring company that I am more comfortable with.
