We are terribly sorry that our guest's overcharge was not resolved in a timely manner. We thought the issue had been taken care of through our credit card merchant. We mailed the guest a full refund of the entire amount charged on 5/**/15.

Review: I've been trying for about two months to get a refund of an overcharge at Mile End, or to at least get someone to look into it and tell me what they found. I ate there with one other person in February and, about 10 days after the credit card charge posted to my account, realized it looked like I'd been charged double the total bill. The charge was about $87 --- we ordered a reuben, a smoked meat sandwich, and one beer (which should come out, with tip, to about half of $87). I called, explained the situation, was told that sometimes their credit card system does double-charge, and they would look into it. I've since called two more times and each time had a similar conversation: the employee remembers my original complaint, says someone was supposed to look into it, and vows to make sure that happens (and gets my information again). I haven't been called back and there's no refund posted to my credit card. I called on 2/**, 3/**, and 3/**, and did get the name of the person I've been speaking to.Desired Settlement: At a minimum I would like a refund of the overcharge. I would think good customer service would involve something beyond just a refund, given the repeated times my complaint has been ignored.
