Mile-Hi Chimney Sweeps

I have used Mile-Hi for several years. They are quick to respond to calls. Their service is very good. Cleaned my wood stove and chimney quickly. Placing tarps from the front door to the stove, they were very careful to keep soot confined to the stove. The shop vac was outside, limiting the noise and no dust. They even had a brick liner to replace the broken one in my stove. Would highly recommend them to anyone in the Prescott area to clean and service their chimneys.

Terrible Terrible!! They don't repair or service fireplaces, although when setting the appointment he told me he does, Gave me a window between 9 and noon for our appointment, then called me at 1:45 to tell me he was running late. Then came to the property and didn't even notice where the chimney was and didn't know what I meant when I told him the "spark arrestor" was missing. I don't think he knows what that means! Then he complained that the chimney was too high and he doesn't replace chimney caps but he would do it for ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! I asked if he could make the fireplace functional for gas, ie install burner and logs..."Well, I don't do that, I'm only a chimney sweep, But when I reminded him that he TOLD ME HE SERVICED FIREPLACES, he suggested doing it for FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! Then had the gall to charge me $45.00 to do absolutely nothing but make me late for work...Don't let this person anywhere near your fireplace!
