Miles Ahead Plumbing was hired by *** (***) () on January 8, 2020 for an emergency replacement of a gas hot water heater. The work was performed on January 10, 2020. The contractor was late, unprofessional, and not fully knowledgeable of the task as the team went out to a store 2x because they came unprepared for the replacement. At the conclusion of a 6 hour task with 2 people the owner of the company requested $300 in cash to the cost of the items not covered under the warranty without a professional itemized invoice. Today is January 21, 2020 and I am still waiting for the invoice that per *** informed me totals $270.00.
Upon inspection of the replacement as per Fairfax County VA regulations it failed on 4 counts. This contractor has been tardy, incompetent, and unprofessional. I am seeking resolution for proper billing for the $270 & incompetent installation.
