Review: I went to MIles & Tisch on January **, 2014. I wanted an eyeglass prescription and a contact lense prescription for Colorblends green contacts. It took a month to get the prescription emailed to me and then I find out it's the wrong prescription when I go to order my contacts online. I called them again August *, 2014 and an angry and not so bright guy answered. I told him the situation and that I want the right prescription sent to me and he said that he doesn't know how to email. I asked him if there was anybody in the office that knew how to email and he said the email lady was out. I told him I wanted to speak to the doctor and he said call back and hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I am asking for my money back $60 for the contact lense eye exam since I didn't get the prescription I had come for.

Review: I brought in a pair of glasses, still under warranty, for repair on November [redacted]. I was told there would be a one week turnaround for the repair.

We are now at week 6. My wife and I call the store daily for updates and mostly get no information on status. The most common response is "my manager will call you back", which is never followed up upon. At various points we have been told they are "in shipping" or "they should be here soon", but no estimate of date or follow calls are forthcoming.Desired Settlement: At this point I'm convinced they've lost my glasses and don't want to admit it. I'd like a cash payment to cover the full cost of a new pair of glasses, which I will happily purchase somewhere else.

Review: Miles & Tisch charged my Amex $191 for glasses lenses they did not supply. For several months, they dodged my phone calls to find out where the glasses were--and eventually, after many complaints to my health care company, which also tried to reach them for months, they admitted that they would not be able to fulfill the order. They did not reimburse us for the charges. I have been emailing since last fall, I have left messages, I have complained to my insurance company. Miles & Tissh continues to ignore our requests for reimbursement.Desired Settlement: $191 in check delivered to me by mail in the next ten days.

Review: Following an annual eye exam roughly 4 weeks ago, I tried to order disposable contacts through Miles & Tisch.

After checking in periodically, I received a call 2 weeks ago saying they'd screwed up my order. I therefore decided to cancel my order and purchase the contacts elsewhere. It was then that I discovered Miles & Tisch had already submitted a claim through my insurance company which exhausted my annual benefits.

I notified my insurance of the situation but I was told that in order to rectify the situation, Miles & Tisch would need to submit an updated insurance claim...that was ~10 days ago and to my knowledge it has still not been done.

Bottom line is that they submitted a claim to my insurance for goods they never delivered and have been extremely unresponsive in fixing this situation.Desired Settlement: I would like them to submit the necessary paperwork to my insurance ASAP so I can use my insurance benefits to buy contacts from a more timely and reputable business.
