Miles Major Movers

Review: I hired [redacted] Major Movers to move my belongings from Davis Ca, to Sacramento Ca on June 13, 2015. The movers were to be at my residence at 8:00am, but they did not arrive until after 10:00am. When they showed up they had an open bed truck. I asked where the moving truck was that I was promised and they said that was what they had. There was not way I was going to put my expensive belongings in an open truck, so I had to rent a truck, which was not part of the agreement ( which I paid for)My daughter and I were not there while they were loading soI did not realize they had damaged my belongingswe until we arrived at the storage facility. I stated that they had damaged my belongings and the working did not care. He was upset with Mr [redacted] because he was at water world with the family but he had to work. (they are cousins)I made multiple phone calls to Mr. [redacted] with no response. finally, he returned my call and agreed to meet with me at the end of July 2015. I met him at Starbucks with his wife. He agreed to meet me at the storage facility on August 8, 2015 to look at the damage. We met on that day and Mr [redacted] had to take out my belongs because his employees had packed it incorrectly, causing more damage. He took phots and stated how sorry he was that his employees destroyed my belonging and that he would get back to me in a week.I have made multiple phone calls and left text messages for Mr. [redacted] and he has not responded.
