Milford Taxi and Livery

Hello, On the night of Sunday May 26th we called Milford Taxi and Livery out of Hopeale,MA to come pick us up at [redacted] in Franklin,MA and take us to [redacted] in Foxboro,MA. When the driver got there we got in the taxi and we asked where the meter was in the car, he responded that it as a flat rate of 75 dollars for a 9 mile ride. We were not informed of the charges we were going to encounter. We then proceeded to ask him nicely to let us out the car and he refused to. He told us had had driven to get us and we were paying the money. He held us against our will and told us we had to call the company and give a credit card. We felt extremely threatened and endangered in the car. We asked him if we could see his licensure to be able to transport passengers and he refused. He would not pull the car over or give us any of his information at all. We proceeded to take a picture of his license plate when we finally were let out of the car. His license plate number was [redacted]. This week I have tried to call the management of this company on multiple occasions. I finally did in fact get a call back and she informed me that she would refund our credit card 25 out of the 75 dollar ride that we recieved that night. I don't think this is just at all for the series of events that took place that night. We politely asked him if he could pull over and let us out and he stated no he would not. This is not a way to conduct a business and on behalf of other possible customers feeling endangered and imprisoned in a vehicle against your will is not morally or legally acceptable. The supposed driver that night was claiming that his name was "[redacted]" although when asked he hesitated to show any identification of himself the whole ride. We would also like our full refund placed back on the card instead of only 1/3 of it.Thank you again.-[redacted]
