Review: Dear Sir or Madam,

I was lied to and misled by [redacted] Milham Auto Sales (especially the [redacted] location) and nobody at Milham would do anything for me... except take my money! I was "ripped off"!

When I first looked at a Buick LeSabre at the [redacted] location,

I was told (by the [redacted] location) that Milham would repair the problems my mechanic had found. I was also told (by [redacted], the salesperson at the [redacted] location) that there was a 72-hour return policy. My advisors agreed it was a better deal than the car at another dealership which bad made no such offers. So I let the car at the other dealership go.

I learned too late that Milham would NOT fix the car and the return policy only applied to a few select vehicles. But now I had to buy the car at Milham because I had already let the car at the other dealership goj and the kind of car I need is very hard to find, so I couldn't just go somewhere else. I'd been told the LeSabre had only been in one accident; it wasn't until I gave Milham the check and signed paperwork that I learned it had been in THREE accidents, not just one.

Further, I had to pay full price for the car at Milham since I was never offered anything for my old car as a trade-in ([redacted], the sales manager at [redacted], claims I never showed any interest in trading in my car, but that isn't true). And the car I bought from Milham also needs a paint job due to a poor repair job after one of its accidents, but Milbam was adamant that they wouldn't reduce the price.

I believe I was taken advantage of, at least partly because I was a woman alone (they wouldn't have done this to a man!) I've tried phone calls, letters, and faxes to both locations, but nobody is willing or able to help me.

Milham didn't even remove the plastic floor covering that clearly reads "Dealer must remove"

I want Milham to reimburse me for the cost ($815) of the repairs they should have done; and since they wouldn't reduce the price, due to the car's condition, I want some money towards the paint job.

Enclosed are the names and contact information for the people at Milham involved, as well as two copies of the repair bill. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.

Thank you for taking my call earlier today. Attached to this e-mail you will find supporting documents showing the acknowledgment of [redacted] understanding the “AS-IS” condition of the vehicle she purchased from us. Please note that [redacted] actually signed the [redacted] report and initialed each of the 4 pages of the report stating the dates of the three accidents also you will see a form titled “Prior use and damage disclosure acknowledgement” which is signed by [redacted] stating the three accidents as well as the dates of the three individual accidents. Please take notice of a statement by [redacted] acknowledging the leaks her mechanic said he found during her “pre-purchase inspection” “WILL NOT” be repaired now or in the future (signed by [redacted]).

There are many more documents attached supporting the same that are attached. Please let me know if you need any additional info.
