Review: I paid my rent ON TIME on September 1, 2013. 9 days later, I checked my account to see that the payment STILL did not post. When I check the online payment section, it said "returned". NO ONE EVER bothered to call me from the office to tell me something went wrong with the payment! 9 DAYS LATER!! Now they want over $80 for THEIR mistake because now it's past the "late date". I AM NOT paying for someone's carelessness to simply let their tenant know that the payment didn't work! I had more than enough money in my account and AGAIN it was paid ON TIME!!! This isn't the first time this place has messed with our money. They make verbal agreements and then lie about it. For example, at one point one of our checks bounced because of a routing number issue. We saw it happen IMMEDIATELY and IMMEDIATELY called them to let them know that this had happened and that we were going to immediately pay online. They said that it was fine and didn't mention any negative impact. What do we get next? A fine from them in the mail. Then, they wouldn't allow checks from ANY tenant for a year!! This is over $800 that we have to pay a month and they won't accept a check! Even from someone whose check had nothing to do with it! UNBELIEVABLE!!Desired Settlement: I am NOT paying the late fee. I need someone to call me and explain why this happened in the first place and why I DID NOT receive a call when this had happened! Why did it go 9 DAYS without a WORD!!
