I am rejecting this response because:The response is factually inaccurate and does not address the complaintTwo days prior to the delivery date, I was called about renegotiating the price and I agreed to a higher priceOn the day of delivery I called three times for an update and no one would talk to me or return my callAt 5pm, I had to drive to the nursery and was then forced to wait for minutes before the owner would speak with meHer response made it seem like this was a single point in time and just one small mistakeHowever, she had more than a week to communicate her decision to me and had at least opportunities that I initiated to tell me soShe did not confront the situation until I was in the store.I am not complaining about the priceMy complaint is that the owner made a decision not to honor the purchase, yet refused to communicate that to me until after I wasted two days preparing for the deliveryThis was not a breakdown in internal processes, but dishonesty and disreputable business practicesI did nothing wrong as I paid up front for the product and the delivery, yet I am bearing the entire financial burdenAn apology is not acceptable as the owner should assume the financial responsibility for her mistakes

To Whom It May Concern:Good afternoon.In response to your notification on May12, 2017 regarding ID [redacted], Millcreek Gardens is submitting the following response:A guest came into Millcreek Gardens to purchase an outdoor fountain for his home patio.  One of our employees gave him an...

unauthorized discount on the price of the fountain.  Millcreek Garden's owner informed said employee that discount was too large - and unauthorized.  Further negotiation on the price was necessary.  The customer had been given a delivery date at time of purchase, due to a communication breakdown on policies and procedures, the customer was not notified that the fountain would not be delivered on the arranged date. After attempts to renegotiate the price of the fountain, the customer chose to have his money refunded.We are truly sorry the customer was inconvenienced by our internal processes breakdown.  We are taking immediate steps to tighten our processes so this does not happen again. We hope the customer will give us another chance to prove that his situation was not our best effort and that we can, and will, do much better going forward.

Millcreek Gardens offers the customer a 20% discount on the fountain, plus delivery.The delivery will be $100 for two employees time.Tell us why here...
