Please see attached for my most recent email to Mr [redacted]. I have also attached the engagement letter. I completed the appraisal inspection, market analysis, sales comparison approach and the full General Purpose appraisal within 2 1/2 weeks. I stand by my professional opinion of value...
as stated in this report, and I followed all FNMA guidelines in completing this report. This completed the contract fully and my fee was earned. He never requested any revisions from my office, only demanded a refund. After his actions of reporting his displeasure to everyone but me I have determined that he was looking to obtain a free appraisal report which is already in his possession (I do have proof that it is in his possession). The appraisal remains valid for at least 6 months in his specific market. I offered a partial refund but he has not accepted it. Thank you, and have a great day! [redacted]
