We are writing in response to the Revdex.com complaint that was filed...

against ourbusiness. The patient is unclear about the charges that incurred and why insurance did not paythe entire balance. The insurance is a contract between the patient and the insurancecompany. We cannot guarantee what or how the insurance is going to pay. This particularinsurance does state that it covers 100% of a healthy mouth cleaning. Once a patient has beendiagnosed and treated for periodontal disease it is no longer a healthy mouth cleaning and themaintenance cleaning is subjected to a 50.00 dollar deductible and 10% co-pay. This is the casein this particular patient's situation. The patient did agree to financial policy, payment is due atthe time of service and any unpaid balance is to be paid within 90 days from the date servicewas rendered, if balance is unpaid after 90 days then balance is subject to finance charges anddebtor fees. This balance occurred May 2nd, and was still unpaid Aug31st. The good news is thatpatient did ultimately pay the balance before it was reported to the credit bureau and will notreflect on the credit report.
