Dear Sir, On Sunday May 15th before I was to leave I was told by the front desk personnel that you would be in at 11AM. I called the front desk at 1 PM and I was told that you would not be in until Monday the 16th and asked the person to have you call me on that Monday. That did not happen. When the reservation was made and paid for (50%), the rate was $319 per day plus tax and fees. I went to the website the week prior to my arrival and the charge for the same accommodation was $267.60 per day plus tax and fees. I am asking for you to refund the difference. Never was I informed that the Hotel was under renovation and the amenities of fitness center and swimming pool would not be in service. Your current website does still not make the users available of those facts. It is as if everything is operational. That is not only deceitful but perhaps fraudulent. The Durham Revdex.com and [redacted] might not take your inaccurate presentation lightly. I am asking that you refund me the amounts of $51.40 times three which equals $154.20 plus the tax and fees which equal approximately $20.82 for a total of $175.02. You can make that adjustment to the credit card used or send me a check via overnight delivery to [redacted] XXXXX. I have been promised things from the company to have on my wedding day and now they will no honor any of the request. No good customer service.I will be having my wedding here on August 20,2016. This has been the worst nightmare of my entire life. They say, you should never have to worry or stress about things during wedding planning. Well let me tell you that this place has cause a lot of worry and stress over the last couple of months. First, when visiting the venue and signing a contract, [redacted] the coordinator informed me that the place would be renovated and assured me that it would be completed by August. This information was exciting to me so I proceeded to lock the date in and signed the contract. Fast forward to a few months later, after signing the contract any questions or concerns I had [redacted] took days and days to respond (After I sent follow up emails) When she does FINALLY respond she either doesn't answer the question successfully or either says she doesn't know and will get back to me. Well, she never gets back with me until I again, sends her an follow email inquiring about the question I asked weeks ago. Fast forward again to a this week, I went back to the hotel to look at the space because I couldn't remember what it looked it. I asked if I could see the bridal suite (Which is the space that my bridesmaids and I would be getting dressed) and GUESS WHAT!?!?!?!? Its been renovated and will not be finished before my wedding. NOW all of a sudden she says well that space was never guaranteed and she swears that she never told me that the space would be completed renovated before August. GO FIGURES! Now I have a balance with the hotel that should have only been $900 (occurring to payment schedule emailed to me). She tells me that I owe $3,000 MORE because she couldn't charge me for services fee ahead of time. Which doesn't make any sense. If that was the case then the service fees wouldn't be paid until the end of the night on my wedding day. I called and asked to speak with a supervisor I was first today that she doesn't have a supervisor, then I call the head office. They emailed her supervisor and it took weeks and weeks for him to actually call me back. When he called back he had me on speaker phone along with [redacted] and clearly believed everything that came out of her mouth and didn't give a [redacted] about what I had to say. I can honestly say it was a pointless conversation because he did absolutely nothing for me for the poor service that I have had along the way. They only care about getting your money and that's it. I have called the head office back and let them know what happened on the phone call, they are going to email the general manager and have him contact me. Hopefully, I can update you all with better news as they fix this for me. This hotel will NEVER be recommended by me. I am extremely angry and frustrated at how my wedding plans have been ripped to pieces. The entire staff needs service training because they clearly don't have any.Desired SettlementI would like to continue on with my wedding here since it is a week away. I would like to not have to pay another dime to them after the way I have been treated/lied to. I would like the everything thats in included in my package/contract along with the Gobo light for the dance floor. I would ask for more but I just want to get this day over with as I would never want to work with this company ever again.
