Review: Before I traveled to new you from Chicago I called the hotel to prepay my room in advance so when I got there. I spoken to the front desk to inform them that I will be arriving after midnight (early friday morning) will my room be available she said 'yes'. And she informed me that I should have to worry about paying now I can onlypay when I check out. I told her I like to pay now so I wouldnt have to worry about it later.

When I arrived to check in the young man checked my reservation and told me that I dont check in til 3pm. I told him no I spoken to someone a week ago and I was informed that I was fine I can arrive and my room would be available. He went inyo the back room to speak to someone then he came back out to tell me it will be 250 for the night so he had to ceeate another reservation for friday morning so I can get the room. I was hott. So I paid and he ask me was I upset I said yes I am. I received the wrong information that I can arrive at this time and my room will be available because I prepaid, now you telling me its not.

So I got my key to my room. The next morning I spoken to the manager and she tells me there is a left over balance of 30 dollars for fees. Now my head Is hurting. I tell her the reception charged me 250 I thiught he included the fees when I paid, she stated he didnt so I had to pay 30 for the fees he dud not add for the one night.I also informed her the coversation I had with one of her receptionist. She tells me tgat yge receptionst must have assumed you mean friday at midnight I said no I told her that I was arriving friday morning after midnight.thats a $250 assumption mistake on her part. So the manager was not a help at all. I called the receptionist before I prepaid for a reason so I would not have issues like this. Within 10 hours when I arrived til I woke up I have not been happyDesired Settlement: The reception should not assume situations like this! I know 250 is not alot for some people it was a deep bent for me. I had to rearrange my whole agenda because of the 250 plus the 30 the receptionist faild to add.

The desired settlement : I would like part of the 280 refunded to me because of the lack of communication and the inconvenience this situation put me through.
