I was a passenger of Millennium Transportation riding on a 13 passenger van that provided transportation service to [redacted]. I paid the transportation fee on or about the first of the month every month at a rate of $40.00 per week.On June 2, 2014 I paid the monthly fee of $160.00 to cover the month of June 2014.On June 3, 2014, [redacted], owner of Millennium Transportation, informed the riders that transportation would no longer be provided effective July 1, 2014 due to high fuel costs and lack of rider participation.I immediately sought the service of another transportation provider, and to ensure a seat I decided to start riding with the other company. I contacted Mr.[redacted] via telephone to inform him that I would no longer use Millennium Transportation as a transportation service provider effective June 9, 2014. I asked Mr. [redacted] if I could be refunded the remaining money paid for the subsequent weeks that were pre-paid. He replied that he would, and he would get back to me.I did not hear anything further from Mr. [redacted], so I sent him a text message on June 6, 2014 and again on June 9, 2014. I've made attempts to call Mr. [redacted] and he stopped answering his mobile phone.Product_Or_Service: TransportationDesired SettlementI would like a refund of the $120.00 balance that was pre-paid for the weeks I was supposed to ride the Millennium Transportation van, but didn't. Mr. [redacted] agreed to refund the money and never followed through.
