I am sorry to hear that the veteran had trouble with this appraisalAt some point between the order date and 5/I attempted to go to the house to inspectI'm sorry but I don't have that date or time in my calendar because I had to reschedule the apptMy instructions were to contact the broker on
my way so he could tell me where the key wasI was unable to make contact with him so I went to my next appt We rescheduled for the 9th but because we already had a full schedule we were not able to upload the appraisal until 5/20.I understand that the veteran is seeking some type of retribution Although I understand his frustration I don't believe we are at faultIn fact, when I explained the situation to the representative from VA he indicated that I would be within my rights to charge for the additional trip to the property I informed him that I didn't want the veteran to have to pay for someone else's mistake and that I was happy to waive that fee.I do hate that the veteran had a hard time getting in contact with us My assistant indicated that he was seeking $for additional expensesOn 6/8/via email I offered to reimburse the veteran for this additional expenseAgain, not because we believe we are at fault, but because we hate to see a veteran go through this much trouble The veteran had left a note on the door of our old office which is no longer occupied which is the cause for some of the lack of communication.After I sent the email on 6/8/indicating I was willing to reimburse him for his increase in insurance premium I have not heard from him.*** ** *** *** * *** **
