the worldWhen we purchase batteries, we always purchase new batteriesThis product arrived into our warehouse from a new supplier & slipped through our quality control checksUnfortunately, our warehouse personnel missed it again when it was returned to usThis battery should have been a new battery & it is backed up by a year warranty, twice the warranty of the original battery

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed.LaptopBatteryExpress is attempting to redirect the blame of their significantly bad behavior of selling remanufactured batteries as "New Batteries" on an outside "new Supplier" and a "slip through their quality control checks" and "warehouse personnel".I repeatedly through numerous contacts, reorders, and returns brought these issues directly to their management's and customer service Dept. attention 6 MONTHS ago with no resolution. It was only after I filed this complaint with the Revdex.com that they now offer this excuse. Here is a copy of one of my final letters and their "managers" response:"HelloThank you for your email.It appears from your email we have done nothing correctly on all of your orders and it seems too difficult to satisfy all of your needs So, please return all items and we will refund your $$ from the orders. Use the prepaid return labels previously sent. Your refund will be issued as soon as we receive all items back in our office.By the way, we are in a smoke-free environment. Pretty hard to blame that one on us too.Thank you ________________________________Hello yet again,You are obviously not sending me the advertised NEW Extend 8 Cell battery that I paid for.From the scratches and adhesive residue from removed stickers to the old manufacture date with a newer testing sticker applied.... to the fact that, once charged the computer shows a 2 hour runtime and delivers 1hr 45 Minutes. A long way from the 3 - 4 hours advertised for the reported 8 CELL NEW BATTERY that I paid extra for. I could have bought 2 to 3 batteries of this type and quality from other sources. But I was willing to pay MORE because I MISTAKENLY THOUGHT that I was getting a BETTER BATTERY. I have gone nearly a month wasting my time and without my laptop due to my experience with LaptopBatteryExpress. 1) The first battery had the wrong computer Extend label affixed over an old battery that IS a fit for my laptop (clearly someone is placing stickers on previously manufactured batteries.2) The second battery arrived with broken tabs in an open plastic sleeve that was not the sealed anti static bag as the others.3) The third battery arrived in a previously opened and wrinkled seal tape with adhesive from old removed stickers, a 3/2014 manufacture date and another 3rd party inspection in 12/2015 AND THE PLUG THAT IS DEFECTIVE AND WONT INSERT FULLY INTO THE LAPTOP. AND ALL OF THEM SMELL OF TOBACCO SMOKE. This is Ridiculous."
Clearly, the managers were made VERY aware of these issues.

Thank you for refunding me for the battery that I didn't receive. Since I didn't receive it, I feel the next step is to process a refund for the remaining $10. For all I know, LaptopBatteryExpress might have mailed the battery to the incorrect address during the shipping process. Perhaps when they mailed it out there was a typ-o in the mailing address. The bottom line is, there's no justification in keeping $10 from me for an item I didn't receive. I don't find keeping $10 from me to be fair at all, not on any level.
