Miller Construction

I hired Miller Construction on or about June 08,2020 and paid $10,484.00 to rebuild a wall and overhang and bring it up to code. On June 15,2020 I paid Dave $3,150.00 To build a shed and on July 02,2020 I paid an additional $625.00 toward the $12,50.00 to have the loft,steps and gutters installed on the shed. I have installed the steps myself and the loft was built but not very well.

On Monday July 13,2020 I returned home from work to find a bucket of roofing tar spilled into the driveway. I text messaged Dave and he sent his son and Martin over.Dave also told me he was having
a trash dumpster delivered. Also in speaking with Dave he mentioned removing the old shed.It wasn't until the following morning that Martin came to clean the tar up. The dumpster came and the drived wanted to put it in the driveway told to him by Dave, when Dave had told me it was permitted to be put on the street.

I have had no communication from Dave or Miller Construction since July 13,2020. I have called, text messaged and E mailed Dave and Have not gotten any response. I did reach him briefly the week of July 16,2020 in which Dave replied "You are on my call back list call you in an hour" I did not get a call nor have I had any communication from that point.

My complaint is that the work has not been completed on the shed and the work that has been done is not satisfactory. There is leaking on the shed, especially from the skylight ( I messaged Dave on July 14,2020) and had no response.The siding above the door is not done properly or the door installation. Dave assured me that these issues would be dealt with The trash from the wall is still on my lawn and has not been removed. The Gate was not installed properly.The rain gutter on the overhang is not draining the right direction and water is spilling onto the walkway under the overhang.
