I wanted to respond to your letter by stating that upon receiving your letter I was quickly able to
contact the patient in the Revdex.com complaint,[redacted]. As I had thought, there was a simple
misunderstanding of his balance. It was never $1,800 and when he made his last...
payment last week in
the amount of $220.00 he paid his balance in full. He felt sorry that he had misunderstood the letter that
came to him.
It was merely breaking down what the insurance had already paid, what he had already paid and the
little remaining balance he still owed. They are still patients of ours after resolving this
misunderstanding and I would request that the Revdex.com not even post his complaint or my response since
it seems certainly within your power and right to not post the complaint. Since it is resolved,I
think it is best to not even post the complaint. If you would like to speak with the patient in
this inquiry, please feel free to do so to verify that what I have written is true. I would post a
response but feel it best to simply ask for the request not to post it since that is in my best
interest.
Thanks,

Review: My wife and I were both patients of Doctor Miller's for almost 9 months from January to September of 2014. At first things seemed to be going great and we felt that we received really good service from himself and his entire staff. The service that we received was never in question at all. After 6 months however, things took a turn for the worst. My wife had some serious dental work that needed to be done and I also was told that I needed to get a cleaning every 3 months, which I eventually stopped because I thought it was ridiculous. At around the first part of July 2014 I received a huge outstanding bill for roughly $1800 of dental work between my wife and I. I was dismayed by this because during the first 6 months not once did they inform me about my balance that me or my wife owed while we were present for each visit, but instead they back-billed every single procedure that was done and then right on my doorstep I get a fat bill for services. Had I known how much my balance was after each procedure that me and my wife had over the 6 months I would not have chosen to see the dentist when they suggested, but they kept scheduling me and my wife for services flagrantly without even informing us once about how much each visit would cost at the time it happened. I find this to be extremely bad business on behalf of Miller Family Dentistry. Most dentists that I have been to in the past will inform you before the procedure how much it will cost, and then you can pay right then and there if you have the money, but because this business back billed me an outstanding amount I am now seriously in debt because of this, and this was something that could have been totally avoidable had they informed me during each visit how much it will cost. I now have another bill that I have to pay monthly now and I've even had to ask family for money just to cover it because I cannot afford it.Desired Settlement: I do not want a full refund for services as that would be completely unethical. What I would like to request though is that the amount for the total bill to be cut in half as I believe that would be fair because of their mistake.
