This complaint has been resolved We asked the customer to get an estimate on cleaning the sofa She gave us a price and we sent her a check for the total amount

Everything [redacted] says is a lie [redacted] is not even the customer who booked the job, nor did she speak to anyone at Aviv Moving and Storage until the day the goods were supposed to arrive in FloridaThe customer who scheduled the move is [redacted] [redacted] gave *** [redacted] a quote based on the inventory list she had provided Based on her list the cubic feet of space came out to 495, which became a lot more because she had more than she told [redacted] over the phone [redacted] explained to [redacted] that the cubic foot space will adjust on the day of the move if it is more, or less [redacted] also told [redacted] that the delivery of her goods will arrive in Florida within business days from the 1st day she can receive it because we need to see when we have a trailer going that direction [redacted] also told her that if she wanted a guarantee delivery date then the move will be more than $5000, and she agreed that she can wait as long as business days to receive the goodsThe initial quote was $based on cubic feet x $When the movers were at the pickup address, they had to pack, use materials and the cubic foot volume exceeded the amount because Jodi’s inventory was not correct The mover estimated cubic feet, materials came to $and [redacted] also told [redacted] that day that she would like us to dispose some goods for her, which she didn’t mention when we booked the move [redacted] told her that she didn’t mention it to him and her reply was: “I spoke to a million companies, that I don’t remember if I told you, or not” [redacted] then told her if we do it for her for $if that would be ok, and she agreed So now total is $ [redacted] couldn’t believe it came out so much, she then told [redacted] that she cannot afford this and to tell the movers to unload everything from the truck Hearing this, [redacted] said he will try to help her (which, he didn’t have to) [redacted] told [redacted] that he will lower the price per cubic foot to $and that she would pay only half of the materials price, because she complained that we used too much materials Now the price is: $($discount), which we did for herEven though at the end it came out to cubic feet of space (an additional $425.00) but we let it go and did not charge her extra, taking another loss on this moveShe was supposed to pay a 60% balance on pickup day, but she didn’t have enough money She could only give us $1200, which we took and [redacted] told her to pay the remaining 60% balance before we ship it to Florida [redacted] sent her and email and tried calling her to receive payment, but no responseWe shipped it anyway to make sure to get to her within the business days, which we promised although she has not paid us and could have kept her goods with us until it was paid We finally received a phone call from [redacted] , not [redacted] the day the movers were supposed to deliver her goodsShe stated that the remaining balance of $was too much and was not willing to pay [redacted] told her that we are within the business days and if we cannot deliver the goods today, we would have to redeliver it another time for an additional fee She did not want to pay cash, money order, or certifited check, which we told [redacted] from the start, that it is our long distance policy (also written on the confirmation letter) because she wanted to dispute the charges and also told [redacted] that this is what she will do anyway [redacted] never said that he was the owner of Aviv Moving and Storage, nor promised anything he cannot giveEverything was explained and there were no hidden fees involved No one at Aviv Moving and Storage lied, stole, or threatened anyone [redacted] and ***, are just two girls trying to take advantage of Aviv Moving and Storage, by trying to catch a free ride of their goods home without paying anything and make up stories to make them look innocent to the public eyeThe only mistake we made was not unload the truck on pickup day, when [redacted] told us that she cannot pay the amount, instead of trying to fix the situation [redacted] and [redacted] should both be ashamed of themselves

All items consigned to Aviv were transferred to *** who verified the inventory was completeAs Aviv Moving & Storage did not coordinate delivery, and was not present at the time of delivery, we are unable to render a response and sugges those questions are best posed to the delivery party Aviv Moving & Storage provided local moving and storage servicesMr*** contracted for international moving services with another carrier and that carrier verified it Aviv Moving & Storage conveyed to their custody all items identified on the inventoryAny loss would have had to occur after the shipment was consigned into the care of the international carrier Thank you

Regarding *** ***’s Claim, He states that some of his items were not in the inventory list and wonders if these items even went to the storage last July. Well, when we picked up his goods last July, we made an item list, Mr*** is was responsible to check that the inventory is accurate and that all his goods were taken to storage. How do we know if anything was left behind at his home? Whatever went to our storage facility was delivered to Canada. Mr*** signed the inventory list in MA and in Canada, stating that he shipped and received everything. We tried reaching Mr*** to try to resolve this issue, but he has not responded back and are still waiting for his response

We did the move for *** *** on Aug 1stThe movers did wrap what was needed to wrap and moved everything to the destination address in NHThe movers went straight from the pickup address in ***, MA to NH, with no additional stops along the way The delay was because of traffic, which
we can not avoidEverything was delivered to her and was taken off the truck to her home, There were more people at the pickup address, that helped take boxesWe do not know if they might of taken the missing items We understand that *** didn't have a good experience and tried to help The manager called her on Aug 10th to discuss the move and refunded her $for the missing white shelving and for hour of labor timeThe conversation ended that *** was satisfiedWe didn't hear from her since If there is an additional claim, then we are happy to assist her, but she needs to contact us

The mover from AVIV don't even included luggage and air purifier and mirror in the inventory. The person who delivered my items told me to put a check mark on the form when I see an item unloaded from the truck. He told me “not” to match the sticker number on each box. Maybe they know some items were missing.For example: my recliner chair was broken into pieces, and the mover told me to check boxes on the form. My bed was broken into pieces and he told me to check boxes on their form. The box I checked on their form is not the sticker number on each item. In order words, more check boxes in their form were checked than the items actually delivered. Five items out of forty missing in one move is really substantial and unacceptable. How can a feet x feet luggage missing without a trace?

This complaint has been resolved.  We asked the customer to get an estimate on cleaning the sofa.  She gave us a price and we sent her a check for the total amount.

[redacted] a quote based on the inventory list she had provided.  Based on her list the cubic feet of space came out to 495, which became a lot more because she had more than she told [redacted] over the phone.  [redacted] explained to [redacted] that the cubic foot space will adjust on the day of the move if it is more, or less.  [redacted] also told [redacted] that the delivery of her goods will arrive in Florida within 14 business days from the 1st day she can receive it because we need to see when we have a trailer going that direction.  [redacted] also told her that if she wanted a guarantee delivery date then the move will be more than $5000, and she agreed that she can wait as long as 14 business days to receive the goods. The initial quote was $2227.50 based on 495 cubic feet x $4.50. When the movers were at the pickup address, they had to pack, use materials and the cubic foot volume exceeded the amount because Jodi’s inventory was not correct.  The mover estimated 750 cubic feet, materials came to $184 and [redacted] also told [redacted] that day that she would like us to dispose some goods for her, which she didn’t mention when we booked the move.  [redacted] told her that she didn’t mention it to him and her reply was: “I spoke to a million companies, that I don’t remember if I told you, or not”.  [redacted] then told her if we do it for her for $200 if that would be ok, and she agreed.  So now total is $3759.00.  [redacted] couldn’t believe it came out so much, she then told [redacted] that she cannot afford this and to tell the movers to unload everything from the truck.  Hearing this, [redacted] said he will try to help her (which, he didn’t have to).  [redacted] told [redacted] that he will lower the price per cubic foot to $4.25 and that she would pay only half of the materials price, because she complained that we used too much materials.  Now the price is: $3279.50 ($479.50 discount), which we did for her. Even though at the end it came out to 850 cubic feet of space (an additional $425.00) but we let it go and did not charge her extra, taking another loss on this move. Damages were assessed after movers left because they were sitting in truck and left without allowing me to inspect the furniture delivered. Illegal activity and charges were obviously prevalent. Business lied to charge more than double original quote and would not honor the $4000 in damages to my $14000 worth of furniture that was caused by movers.)
