Complaint
Behavior Description:
On June 21, 2023, Jack Gilley, a supervisory class employee of Miller Pipeline, working on-site at 145 Dunkirk, IN. 47336 was driving an excavator through the rear of the property at 141 E. Grand Street, Dunkirk, IN. 47336 which in turn left deeply rutted track marks in the owner's backyard. The excavator driver was also seen using the bucket and pounding the ground with it for some crazy reason. Maybe trying to repair the deep ruts he had just applied to the yard?
There was no apparent reason for this equipment to be driven through the backyard as a means to get to the point of repair at the neighboring property. Simply put, all that was needed was to notify the homeowners at both 141 and 145 E. Grand, to remove their personal vehicles to allow access to the site repair.

Description of Future Practice:
Supervision should be required to notify the homeowner 2 days in advance for access needed by Miller Pipeline for repairs.
Also, if necessary on the day of the scheduled repair, Miller supervision should be REQUIRED to notify the homeowner of the need to remove objects that may impede the progress of the repair work.

Description of now-needed repair:
Miller Pipeline return to 141 E. Grand a return the rutted-out backyard to its original condition.

Regards,
[redacted] .I never wanted a new driveway they collapsed the entry way to my drive and caused additional cracks in my sidewalk. They also caused a sink hole to open up in front of my house. They did finally come out and let me show them what my complaint was and where. The problem was they would not listen to what my true complaint and tried to turn it into that I wanted a new sidewalk and now saying I wanted a new driveway. If Kevin would have read the complaints I sent to Micelle B[redacted] at their Co. and quit trying to guard their backsides it would not have gotten this far. I am ok with the repairs they made to solve the problem. Next time have your people in the field not drive over a sidewalk that already has existing damage when the ground is saturated from weeks of rain and knowing there is a existing tile that runs next to it that may collapse when there were other ways to complete the task at hand without doing further damage..
