Review: Our well pump broke.Miller pump systems came out to repair the issue.They decided to cut corners.Instead of running a new dedicated line for the pump they installed,they jumped off the existing electric,not knowing two outlets in my dining room and my refrigerator were tied in.Pure laziness.As a result of all the extra power,my freezer was melting inside which eventually ended up breaking my fridge,and potentially could have caused a fire.Miller pump systems took ownership of the problem and said they would cover the costs of the food in my fridge,a new refrigerator,and also going back and doing the repairs the way they should have in the first place.I sit here today with temporary repairs and no working fridge.They said they would return when the weather was warmer to make permanent repairs as needed.They have not returned.My well pump failed Christmas Eve morning.They were out to fix the problem the weekend right after Christmas.It is now January 10.And still no fridge and no repairs.It is me,my wife,mother-in-law and our 3 boys.Not that Miller Pump Systems Inc. cares.Desired Settlement: I want things they way they were before the holidays.A working well and refrigerator,without the threat of a fire.

In response to your letter dated January 14, 2014 **. [redacted] is correct in that we incorrectly wired the power feed to his pump. The reason for the error is that over 95% of the homes we work on have a dedicated line to their submersible pump. This was not the case at his house. Nonetheless, Miller Pump Systems is at fault.

We were hired by [redacted] to replace the pump. When **. [redacted] discovered the difficulty, he contacted [redacted]. and not Miller Pump Systems.. Inc; We did hot receive notification via [redacted] until January 6. 2014 that there was a problem.

I called him immediately to discuss the problem and dispatched, a crew on January 7, 2014 to install a dedicated line for his pump. I also sent him a check, which, he has cashed for $250.00 for any food he may have lost.

On January 7.2014 upon investigation it was determined that the only way to get , a cable from his power box to the pump pressure switch would be to route the wire outside. A temporary romex line was run to correct the unsafe situation.

On. January 7, 2014 we had experienced multiple days of sub zero temperatures and the ground was frozen solid. In addition, the men had brought romex wire under the assumption that the cable could be routed inside the house. I explained to **. [redacted] that we would have to return with UF cable that could be buried and also wait for the ground to thaw.

We returned on January 13,2014 to use UF direct burial cable and proceeded with installation, which included burial of the cable.

I then asked him to provide receipt for information on his refrigerator that had been damaged- He emailed me a price from the web for the refrigerator that he had selected but no receipts from previous refrigerator. At this point I felt it would be prudent to turn it over to my insurance company to settle on the amount for the refrigerator.

I am sorry that **, [redacted] experienced the difficulty due to improper workmanship by Miller Pump Systems, Inc.

I don't know what else I can do at this point to rectify the situation.
