This letter is in response to ID# [redacted] a complaint that has been brought upon Miller's Auto SalesMillers auto Sales has been in Business for over years, sells over vehicles a year, and is well known in the community, has participated in local charitable events and fundraisers Miller's Auto Sale's offer's used cars at under retail prices and hold's high standards for the product that are being sold at this locationWe offer extended warranties at costIn the past we have allowed Lemon Buster, Mechanics, friends, and family members of our customers to drive and inspect our vehicles before purchasing.In July 2014, a young couple came to our establishment and ask about a Mustang convertible, they inspected and test drove the carThe sales agent wrote up the invoice with the description of the vehicle along with the identification (VIN#) number for said vehicle they left to secure financingMiller's Auto Sales does not provide in house financingThe following day the purchaser's father called (whose family have been previous customers of Miller's Auto Sales) on the phone and negotiated the priceAll of the pertinent information was conveyedIf a buyer wants a Car Fax they can acquire one on their ownCar Fax's are informative but not always accurateAs for the Car Fax the complaintent has, stated that this vehicle had previous frame damage, if that were the case, in order for the vehicle to be put back into service there has to be a Recondition TitleThis Mustang has a Clean Title.Shortly after the purchase the customer returned with the car, stated that the windshield wipers did not workThe vehicle was immediately take in and the issues where repaired at No Charge to the customer (although all vehicles are SOLD AS IS), the customer was satisfiedIn February 2015, seven months after the sale of the Mustang convertible the buyer returnedBrought the car in and asked that the car be traded or bought backThe customer stated that the convertible had over heated and damaged the engine resulting in an engine changeThe mechanic that replaced the Mustang engine contacted the owner of Miller's Auto Sales (a few days before the customer returned) to tell him that one of his customer brought the Mustang in for repairThe mechanic said the vehicle had a cracked thermostat housing and was a common problem on this type of vehicle, the coolant level was neglectedThe lack of coolant caused the engine to overheatHe was surprised the warranty company covered the repairsWhen the customer returned Miller's Auto Sales inspected and drove the vehicleThere was damage on the front bumper, as the interior needed complete detailingWith these condition considered, An offer of $5,500.00, that was $1,over any other offer, any other dealer would give them for tradeShe loved her convertible in the summer of July, but not so much in the winter of February a convertible is seasonal and will lose some valueMiller's Auto Sales considers this a fair and equitable offer, as it is expensive to drive and maintain a vehicleMiller's Auto Sales prides itself in its reputation and the satisfaction of its customers
