Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
No where in the text messages you provided did [redacted] threat to come to your business and damage your cars. I see him saying that he would file a report, stay by your business and tell others our experience doing business with you, tell you how we ran into someone who told us that you took parts from his cars and try selling them on a rare sports car, and saying we were going to talk to our friend who is a lawyer. I would really like us to come to some kind of agreement.  I don't think we should pay extra $1,000 on a car that we haven't even been able to drive. It's actually in the shop as we speak. I know when I was there the agreement was $3500 trade in, if we had more time that day I don't think we would even be in this situation. I don't just have an extra $1,000 to give to someone. Please don't send anything back unless it's something of a compromise to come to a solution.

If I could give this place a 0 and absolute worst business I would. They sold me a Equinox. I went back 2 days later because the check engine light was on. He checked it an told me it had something to do with the gas tank but nothing to be concerned about. The vehicle then started over heating on me. I took it to a mechanic that I know and trust. The mechanic informed me the equinox needed head gaskets replaced. I called Lloyd and told him what the mechanic said. He first questioned me saying "Is that what you are saying or is that what a mechanic is saying?" Lloyd then went on to tell me that the mechanic was screwing me over with the estimate he had given me and that his mechanic could do it for cheaper. But it would have to being in the evening because the mechanic works a job during he day. I took it to a mechanic I know and trust. When I picked it up my mechanic informed me that the rear drive shaft was gone. My Equinox is supposed to be all wheel drive!! Oh and guess what.. no more check engine light on either.
This guy sold me a Crap vehicle! I highly recommend that NOONE buy a vehicle from him. You will get screwed over!

I've always been a fair person and I called them to see how much we owed left onthe car and wanted to pay him. I would love to see these messages they claim to have saying my fiance was going to go down to his shop and damage his cars. This is ridiculous and I want to know what will be happening. If you read again what I said and then his responds he contradicts himself.

To whom it may concern: [redacted]’s Auto sold a 2003 Lincoln Towncar to [redacted] on September 3, 2015. [redacted] did not have the money to pay for the car in full so we allowed her and her fiancé [redacted] to make payments until it was paid in full. She also traded in her 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee...

that needed a few things fixed before it could be sold. [redacted] states that we changed the price of her trade in but that is not possible due to the fact our contracts are carbon. She signed everything that day and they were both happy with the agreement. Her fiancé also brought a TV for us to hold until they paid off the Lincoln and it is still sitting in a closet at our shop waiting for the payoff. [redacted] also states that we told her we would give her $3500 for her Jeep but that wouldn’t work considering her jeep only books for $4000 retail. She also says she only owes $750.00 but if she looks at her contract it shows how much they still owed at the end was $2470.57. If you take the $750.00 they paid on September 7, 2015 that leave a balance of $1720.57. On December 21, 2015 [redacted]’s fiancé) called first and asked [redacted] how much they still owed and [redacted] said he was going to come up and pay on it. A short time later that same day [redacted] started texting nasty comments and threatening to bring friends to come and beat me and my cars up so I told him I was going to call the police on him. I have been calm with these people and have not charged any interest at all. I did tell them I was going to get the okay to repossess it but [redacted] said he would make the payments but I haven’t seen him yet. I realize that these people didn’t have this kind of money to spend and now they figure that they don’t have the money they should still get to keep the car and get their TV back and the title. Please keep in mind they didn’t tell you anything they said only what I supposedly said. I am sending you the text messages we sent back and forth to each other. Thank you for your time on this matter. [redacted]

Review: I brought a car from this place with my fiance and we traded in my old jeep. The trade in value of the jeep we all agreed upon was $3,500. The owner of the place saw we were expecting and I didn't qualify for any loans so we worked out a deal that he couldn't have our brand new 3D TV until we paid the remaining. We then had our son in Sept. and had problem after problem with this car. we probably put $3,000 or more from Sept.-Nov. just so it was safe to drive with our newborn. In December we contacted the owner to ask our remaining balance we owed him because we finally had extra money and he told us $1,000 over what we are supposed to be owing him. I then looked over the contract to see when they redid the paperwork I originally looked over and signed they replaced the trade in value of the Jeep from $3,500 (which was agreed upon) to $2,500. We brought this to his attention and he basically didn't care and wanted his money threatening to take our car. He was very rude and pushy and threatening to call the cops to say we came there and damaged stuff that we didn't damage when we said we will be having legal actions taken against him. This all took place when we called to try and pay the remaining balance we owe. All I'm wanting is to be treated fairly and finally have this car paid off. I have all the documents and receipts for the payments we made, how much we put down for a down payment and everything. The owner is well aware of this. I don't at this time have the exact transactions dates or complaint dates.Desired Settlement: I want to pay the $750 I owe on the car, get our 3D T.V. back, and get the title to the car.
