Review: I purchased a Chrysler 200 2012 in March 2012 at Chrysler Miller Dodge and was advised that everything on the car was new. I took my car to [redacted] as a result of an issue with the tire pressure not working on the driver side rear and they advised that the tires already had a patch there. If the tires and everything on the car is new, repair should be covered by the warranty. I called Miller Dodge and spoke with the sales rep to schedule a time to bring the vehicle in for review and he advised that since my car was not being serviced there, that it may not be under warranty. I am in dispute becasue I purchased an allegely "new" car with a preexisiting patch on a tire and they will not honor the obligations to repair under warranty. The sales rep advised that I schedule an appointment with the service manager [redacted], but my dispute is not only with repair but the business practice of selling me a new car that was supposed to have new tires and the tires were used and patched.Desired Settlement: I am requesting repair and/or replacement of the tire and to honor the warranty. Else refund me the money it cost me to get it repaired elsewhere.

September 13,2013

Dear [redacted],

On March 17,2012, **. [redacted] purchased a new 2012 Chrysler 200 from Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep,

On August 31,2013, **. [redacted] visited Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep's Service Center to have the right rear tire of this vehicle repaired. The tire was punctured on the sidewall, and therefore was not fit for repair. The tire would need to be replaced. At that time, Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep did not have the proper replacement tire in stock, so **, [redacted] was referred to the local [redacted] Tire Store in order to have the tire replaced immediately. While replacing **. [redacted]'s tire, the staff at [redacted] informed **. [redacted] that there was a pre-existing patch in the tire. Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep did not patch this tire, was not aware of a patch in this tire at the time of sale, and is not aware of how the tire came to be in need of this patch.

The existing patch had no relevance in the tire's need for replacement on August 31,2013, and the vehicle was driven 30,000 miles without an issue related to that tire, **. [redacted] requested that Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep pay for half of the cost of replacing the tire. In the interest of good will, **. [redacted] Miller, owner of Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep, agreed to pay for half of the cost of replacing the tire to resolve this complaint. A copy of check #[redacted] issued by Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep to **. [redacted] in the amount of $120.00 as well as the invoice for the replacement tire is attached.

If you should have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Review: I purchased a car from Miller Dodge on March 2010 I was given the car to drive while they found financing ultimately they found financing through [redacted]), during this time I was never given the interest rate I was called back to the office 72 hours later after they had constructed the deal the Dealership back dated the loan and I found that the interest rate was 18.94 percent. I questioned this deal immensely and asked if I could not take the vehicle. During this time they (Miller Dodge) instructed me that the 72 hour period was over and that I had to accept the offer. This pushed the payments to 500 dollars per month which I can afford However Miller Dodge did not disclose at that time that the Chrysler Jeep Cherokee had multiple recalls and the interest rate. After speaking with the NHTSA they instructed me that Miller Dodge didn't have to disclose that the car was failing. I contacted the AG office of PA and the car cannot be given back under Lemon law because the car had been purchased used. Lemon Law only applies to new cars. To date the car is completely non functioning and I have called and placed letters to [redacted] and [redacted] requesting that I work a deal and return the car without a repossession multiple safety issues remain I agreed to pay the residual amount with a much lower interest rate until paid off. [redacted] to date has sent back a letter via email stating that I owe them an additional 20 thousand dollars(for pay off). To date since I have purchased the car I have made 21K dollars in payments(current) and none of which has been applied to the Principal all has been applied to fees Please Assist me promptly thanks

[redacted]Desired Settlement: If the car or contract cannot be replaced then I would like a replacement car in the amount of the residual dollars that may be owed

Subject: Re: You have a new message from the Revdex.com of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania in regards to your complaint #[redacted].

To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]>

This letter from [redacted] Miller is simply untrue, I have contacted Miller Dodge multiple times requesting repairs from recalls with no response. The recalls on this vehicle was safety recalls one was for electrical damage issues as well as the one up to date Electrical damage causing the car to shift from neutral and have sudden accidents.

I called and spoke with the National transportation Highway Safety who forced Chrysler to do a recall the representative called herself twice and then tried to transfer the call and the phones dropped twice. I myself called back and was unable to reach anyone with knowledge of the recall. After the NHTSA was involved they also mentioned that the parts to fix the recall was unavailable. I am not sure where [redacted] Miller received his information but it's inaccurate at best.

In addition, I was never given the interest rate on this vehicle by his finance department until I had the car greater than 72 hours. The interest rate was 18.94 percent, if you could research your files you will see that Miller Dodge [redacted] PA has a litany of complaints from consumers for poor business practice.

PLEASE help me resolve this issue soon so that I can move, Miller Dodge knew this car had one recall at least he admitted to in this letter and I am sure he cannot provide proof that the recall was fixed. WHY! because the never have the parts or you cant reach the maintence department for repairs just ask the NTHSA.

Review: On April 6, 2013 I purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, from Miller Dodge. The car was fine until my first oil change. When I took the vehicle in for service I told the service manager that I am not getting the proper miles to gallon. The very next day the vehicles ABS system stopped talking to the computer in the car (cluster) and the vehicle would not display any valuable information needed to operate the vehicle, in a safe manner. The service manager was very callous about the situation.

On August 25, 2013 the car stopped talking the computer cluster again and after 30 minutes the car reset itself; however, no check engine light was displayed. On August 28th 2013 I notice that water was leaking into the car and this time I had visual evidence that water was draining into the vehicle. On August 29th 2013 I had a meeting with the General Manager [redacted], and I showed him the pictures and expressed my concern about the water that was coming into the car, and the possibility of mold or rust. I went to him to seek assistance with the service department, but he suggested that I just get out of the vehicle and get into another one.

Since, my car had to be refinanced and the payment would go up I decided to go to the next model. We all agreed on a price ([redacted] GM, “[redacted] (Manager)” and [redacted] Salesman). [redacted] contacted my insurance company, to switch over coverage and was told I could come back the next day to complete all of the necessary paperwork. While waiting for my car to be delivered to this dealership, Manager [redacted] told me that once you have electrical issues the car is shot, and water damage is the icing on the car. When I left out on Thursday I left in “Good Faith” that it was a done deal and Miller Dodge was not in fact callous, but also concerned about my safety and wellbeing and their reputation.

On Friday August 29th 2013, I returned to finalize the paperwork, to later find out that the deal fell through. I worked with the dealership for three hours, until I requested to have my damaged vehicle returned to me. My “Good faith” deal was not honored. I continued to work with the dealership ([redacted] via email) over the holiday weekend. On September 3rd 2013, I received a call about a deal that he ([redacted]) had secured at around 15:30. When I asked about the terms of the deal I was told I would get a call back in two minutes. Two minutes came and went; I sent emails to [redacted] and phone calls that went unanswered.

To date, my car still leaks water and the service hours are not customer friendly to working adults, nor do they try to accommodate your needs.Desired Settlement: My desired outcomes are as follows, willing to accept any of the three. Have my vehicles fixed (electrical issues), water leakage (in the rear of the vehicle) and also checked for mold and/or rust, and also honor our “Good Faith” deal that was agreed upon. Lastly, deem the car as a lemon and make me financially whole.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

When I left out of Miller's in August I was under the assumption that a deal(Financing) was secured since Miller’s contacted my insurance company to change over my insurance coverage. Can Mr. Miller please provide a reasonable timetable of how long a repair of this magnitude would take? Since this vehicle is under warranty would I be compensated with a loaner until the vehicle is returned to me in a safe working condition? I don’t have a copy of the factory warranty that my vehicle is assigned, nor has a “Star File” been created and sent to Jeep as uncovered when I spoke to Jeep customer service. (A detail of next steps) Also, what is true Manufacturer’s price of my current vehicle, a similar vehicle, and the vehicle that is included in this document minus all the fees?

Good Afternoon [redacted],

Happy Friday!! Miller contacted me and fixed my vehicle. They are very unprofessional and I hope that my interaction with them is listed as a negative mark on their Revdex.com profile. I would not recommend this company to anyone moving forward. It took me filing a complaint with your office and my local new station.

Have a great weekend,

Review: I visited this location to purchase a new vehicle. Once negotiations ensued I became uncomfortable with the way the sales team had become over-reaching and anxious about selling me the vehicle that day. I wanted to submit a down payment in the amount of $3,500.00, but at that time only had a portion of that at my disposal. I asked if they could hold off on the paperwork and selling the vehicle until the following week in order to secure the additional funds. When I decided I was going to leave, sales personnel, [redacted] and [redacted], offered me the option of having forty-five (45) days to submit any additional funds I wanted credited towards my down payment. After hearing this option I decided to accept, I placed one-thousand dollars down and said I would return with the remaining 2,500.00 within that time period. Once I started filling out paperwork for financing with **. [redacted], business manager, it was then that she told me, under video surveillance, that she could not endorse the deal I was offered by her fellow employees on behalf of Miller Dodge, but instead allotted me a two (2) week window in which to add any additional funds towards my down payment. I told **.[redacted] that at the minimum I would be bringing in another one-thousand dollars ($1,000.00) but most likely $2,500.00. I signed the paperwork and I left that day with my new car. Now the problem began when I returned exactly one week later with the additional $2,500.00 to be applied toward my purchase. **. [redacted] then proceeded to act like there was nothing she could do, like I had misinterpreted her proposal, and that the paperwork had already been submitted with no recourse. Her absurd advice was to refinance my vehicle.Efforts to contact the dealership have led no where, and I do have a voice mail recording as evidence of the initial deal promised.Desired Settlement: I would like this matter to be resolved in any matter honestly. Most importantly I do not want this company to take advantage of others like me in the future. Perhaps the most reasonable outcome would be a rescission of the contract and a new one with the proper terms.

Dear [redacted],

On June 22,2013, **. [redacted] visited Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep to inquire about his interest in purchasing a 2013 Dodge Avenger. **. [redacted] had $ 1,000.00 on-hand to submit as a down payment on this vehicle. However, **. [redacted] made the sales team aware that he was in the process of selling his current vehicle privately, and that he was confident that that the vehicle would be sold within two weeks. **. [redacted] explained that he would like to use the funds from selling his car in addition to the $1,000.00 he had on-hand as a down payment on a 2013 Dodge Avenger (VIN [redacted]). **. [redacted], Business Manager at Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep, spoke to **. [redacted] and explained to him that she could arrange for his down payment on the 2013 Dodge Avenger to be submitted as $1,000.00 + an amount **. [redacted] was absolutely positive he would be able to bring back to Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep within two weeks, **. [redacted] stated that he was certain that he could bring bring an additional $1,000.00 to Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep within two weeks, and his down payment was submitted as $2,000.00 total. **. [redacted] drove away from the dealership in his new 2013 Dodge Avenger.

**. [redacted] returned to Miller Dodge Chiysler Jeep one week later and he stated that he was prepared to add $2,500.00 to his down payment. It was agreed upon on June 22,2013 that **. [redacted] was expected to return with an additional $1,000.00, so the down payment was submitted as $2,000,00. Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep was not able to change the down payment amount.

**, [redacted] was unhappy with the amount of his monthly payment. **. [redacted] suggested that if he would like to lower his monthly payment, he has the option of re-financing the vehicle. **. [redacted] was very angry at this suggestion, and he left the dealership.

Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep has been in contact with **. [redacted] in an effort to resolve his complaint in a timely manner. **. [redacted] was working out of state for a period of time, which created a delay in our communication. However, **. [redacted] has shown an interest in taking **. [redacted]'s suggestion of re-financing his vehicle to lower the monthly payment amount. With a few pieces of information and with **, Perdomo's final consent, Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep is prepared to assist **, [redacted] in re-financing his vehicle to lower his monthly payment amount and resolve his complaint.

If you have any further questions or concerns regarding this complaint, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Review: On July 24, 2003, My husband and went to purchase a car, he was told that they would give him 5k for the car , and shown a few cars, the truck he wanted they stated he could not get because it cost too much, after 2 weeks with my husband’s disability we discovered that, the car we purchased was not under my husband correct social security number when trying to trade it in for a bigger vehicle which would allow him more comfort due to his disability and need to carry mobile chair, in speaking with his sister she advised us to contact the loan place and they stated that he was approved for 25k which would cover the cost of the car he needs. At that time we went to another dealer because the dealer where we purchased the car kept giving us the run around and would not let us trade the car back in This is when we discovering that we paid to much for the car the dealer forced us to take ? is worth 18k our loan is for 25k when asking the loan company how they would allow this we was given the run around. After going to another dealer, we was told if we put down 5k then they could put us in another vehicle, we've contact the original dealer to see if they would give us the 5k they promised for our trade in they stated the person whom promised us made a mistake and that they no longer was employed at the dealership. Currently we are making payments of 573 a month for vehicle that my husband has a extremely difficult time getting in and out due to his disability, we would like the original dealer to give us the 5k promised but they refused, and we also would like the loan company to be made to practice fair loan procedures and stop authorizing loans with incorrect social security numbers and to stop authorizing loans for cars more than they are worth.

I immediately contacted the General Manager representative, who assured me that he would have new Dodge Journeys in and that he would trade the car in On Tues November 19th, When we went back the dealer claims that he could do the trade in because my husband cosigned for my daughters car, we later found that out to be a lie when speaking to Chrysler Capital who holds our loan what they advised the dealer is that they would have to eat the 8k that they over charged for the car, this information was found out by going to Family Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealer at 6735 Essington Ave in Philadelphia which we sat down with [redacted], and Chrysler Finance on the phone Family Dodge Chrysler said they only could give us 2500.00 toward the trade in but the 5k would have to be put down, because the bank wouldn’t give us what we paid for it in the trade it and only offering us 18k.

Now it has been more than a reasonable amount of time and we was told that I would receive compensation within 90 days from the date that we purchased the car and could get a different vehicle, The general manager fired [redacted] at Miller Inc. so it’s their word against ours we have spent hours filling out claims forms and have made 10 futile phone calls, but no one can answer my questions or even tell me the status of my claim.

Please see the attached copy of our loan papers which shows we did not receive the 5k for our trade as promised, nor have we been but in a replacement vehicle.. To add insult to injury, I am faced with obtaining compensation for the 5k for my trade in. The 500.00 written on this paper work is far less than they are worth.

We are not asking for anything for free, we are asking Miller Inc. to honor there sale rep word and give us the 5k .I have enclosed A COPY OF THE LOAN PAPERS THAT SHOW WE NEVER RECEIVED THE 5K. Which is what is needed for replacement costs towards a new vehicle. The total seems reasonable to me, considering the poor treatment that I have receivedDesired Settlement: We are not asking for anything for free, we are asking Miller Inc. to honor there sale rep word and give us the 5k .I have enclosed A COPY OF THE LOAN PAPERS THAT SHOW WE NEVER RECEIVED THE 5K. Dear [redacted],

On July 24, 2013, **. [redacted] and [redacted] purchased a 2014 Jeep Patriot from Miller Dodge [redacted] Jeep. The price of this vehicle was $26,066.93. Jeep offered a $1,000.00 rebate on the vehicle, and **. and [redacted] traded-in their 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 93,037 miles for $500.00. The manufacturer rebate on the 2014 Jeep Patriot and the trade value of the 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee were combined and applied for use as a $1,500.00 down payment toward their purchase. The rema ining balance of the price of the vehicle was to be financed through [redacted] Capital. Before contracting for this purchase, **. and [redacted] thoroughly examined the 2014 Jeep Patriot, and were given a detailed explanation of all charges, credits, and fees to be applied to their purchase, **. and [redacted] agreed to all terms and condition and **. [redacted] signed a Bill of Sale and a Bank Contract confirming his agreement.

Miller Dodge [redacted] Jeep understands that **. and [redacted] claim that Miller Dodge [redacted] Jeep offered and guaranteed $5,000.00 for their 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This is simply untrue. A Jeep Grand Cherokee that is approximately 17 years old, shows 93,037 miles on its odometer, and is in less-than-fair condition is absolutely not worth that amount of money. I've attached a [redacted] Blue Book estimate from [redacted] to this response to exhibit a common estimated trade-in value of this vehicle. Again, Miller Dodge [redacted] Jeep offered ** and [redacted] a $500.00 trade-in value for their vehicle, and that offer was accepted.

Miller Dodge [redacted] Jeep is not aware of and will not assume to know the reason that ** and [redacted] decided so soon after their purchase to attempt to trade-in the 2014 Jeep Patriot at another dealership for a different vehicle, and that decision has no relevance to the agreement that **, and [redacted] made with Miller Dodge [redacted] Jeep on July 24, 2013,

Miller Dodge [redacted] Jeep stands firm in its conviction that the agreement made on July 24, 2013 was fair, and does not agree to any settlement associated with that agreement.

If you have any further questions or concerns regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact me.
