Review: My A/C was blowing out a strange odor, so I called Millies to come take a look. I was at work (this was on 12/24), but my elderly mother was home. I asked them to call me on my cell w/ what they found and give me a price before doing any work. I also reminded them the day before about a coupon for a free service call w/ repair that they offered. I even TAPED the coupon to my front door as a reminder for them. They guy came late, charged me $155 for about 15 minutes of work, used MY bleach to clean A/C lines, didn't call my cell first as requested, and never applied their coupon. A few days later, when I contacted them to (nicely) inquire about all these things, they lied and said they DID apply the coupon, even though it was not noted on receipt, and was still taped to my front door!

So they offered me a refund of $77.48 (I have all of this in writing in an email chain), and said the check would be mailed the following week (which would have been the week of Jan 6). It never came, so I followed up a week later. They said (again - in writing) that 'accounting has been very busy and unable to get your refund out, but they will be sending it out for sure this week' and then apologized for any inconvenience. That week came and went and no refund. I sent another email on 1/24/14 and again heard nothing. So on 1/27/14 I sent another email but included the emails of the owners, and was again blown off. I was SO nice and polite and practically begged for a response, but got nothing. So on 2/5/14 I sent an email noting that I would be contacting the DPOR-VA and the Revdex.com if I didn't hear back by the end of the week. It's now Friday and it's obvious they have no intention of honoring their refund they promised me. I wouldn't have kept sending emails if they hadn't given me a timeframe of when I would get the check, and then at least returned my emails inquiring about status thereafter!Desired Settlement: A refund - as promised in writing - in the amount of $77.48 - from Millie's. I'll even change my feedback that I left on HomeAdvisor.

A refund for the discussed amount of $77.48 was sent to this customer on February 11th. Please close this case as we have done what the customer asked for. We apologize to the customer for the time taken to get out the refund, our accounting department was backed up due to the recent snow storms in which our office was closed on a couple different days. If anything else is needed, please let us know.
