We are in receipt of the letter of complaint from the customer regarding his fence situation. After talking with the customer, it was agreed upon that I, [redacted], sole owner of Million Dollar Road Fence Co. would replace top and bottom rails with larger rails and all new pickets. The post...

will stay in place, but will tighten and straighten any that may need to be. As the letter states, I blame the manufacturer ([redacted]) for the quality of their material and they blame me for improper installation. Yet, in my 30+ years as a fencing contractor, this is my 2time a complaint was filed, while this was the first (and last) time for the use of this material, Because I must incur these expenses out of my pocket and take a financial loss not as a business but as a sole individual, I am willing to replace sections of the customers fence as the funds become available,

Review: We have had Million Dollar Fencing ([redacted]) install a fence on our property in June 2012. Since installation, the fence has now fallen apart and the pieces have broken under the slightest of wind conditions on atleast 7 different occasions. **. [redacted] was requested to return to our home atleast 4 of those times to repair the damage to the fence and to correct the issues that is causing it to fall apart each time the wind blows. **. [redacted] simply each time put the same fence slats back into the track (including those that were already broken!) and did nothing to reinforce the work that he completed to stop the issue from reoccurring. On several other instances, the homeowner's ourselves had to go out to replace the fence slats that have blown apart from the frame. We purchased the fencing to keep our two Shar pei dogs contained, as they can be aggressive to strangers. Our dogs have escaped the broken fence now on atleast 5 of these occasions, one in which involved the police because someone in the neighborhood was in fear of our pets. We have asked **. [redacted] repeatedly to fix the fence he installed properly to avoid further issues and the loss of our pets, to date, he has not. We called again yesterday evening 04/22 because the fence blew apart yet again, in which **. [redacted] stated that he had wind issues with the product that he bought from his supplier. Yet, has offered no remedy to fix or repair the fence properly. We also rely on this fence to keep our children safe and prevent them from running off while outside playing. We have contacted the fence supplier who blames **. [redacted] for faulty installation of the fence, while **. [redacted] apparently blames the supplier for providing sub par materials. Meanwhile, we, the homeowner's are out of our money and a usable fence. PLEASE HELP!Desired Settlement: We would like the fence to be replaced with proper materials so that we can finally have some peace of mind that the fence will stay intact rather than fall apart each time the wind slightly blows! If a replacement is not possible, then we request a refund of our money so that we can have another contractor replace the fence. Thank you!
