Good Day.
In response to this complaint from [redacted].
[redacted] arrived at the shop with a bicycle in need of repair. We have addressed her issues as promptly as we could.
[redacted] had indicated that her bicycle had experienced a theft of her front and rear wheels.
[redacted]...

had said to us that she had received quotes from other shops of $650.00 too $700.00 in replacement parts and labour.
Our shop said that's pretty close to what it will cost for this kind of work.
Our shop said we could possibly get this work done for a more affordable cost,we will need some time. Right now we don't have everything in stock.
For just the wheels rear cassette it is around the $300.00 mark.
Our shop said we will have to order your parts, we will do our best to bring this repair cost down. this could take a couple of weeks.
[redacted] said that's no problem as long as it is under $600.00
Our shop said we will do the best we can.
Our shop said we will call you when parts come in and we will provide for you a more accurate quote for this quote is incomplete.
[redacted] said thank you. Please keep it under $600.00 cause we don't want to pay for a repair that costs more than the bicycle is worth.
Our shop said we will do our best for you. If the cost is higher than $600.00 or more than the cost of the bike we will call and let you know.
Our shop had called [redacted] when the rest of the parts came in.
Over the phone. Our shop called every time a part came in to inform [redacted] of the quote increase,due to the fact the first quote was INCOMPLETE.
[redacted] replied saying does this mean that its a $20.00 difference or is the parts like $20.00 in cost.
Our shop said no, one part is $22.47 another part is $35.99
[redacted] said further, I don't care just as long as the repair and parts come in under the quote.
Our shop said yes so far the repair cost is under $600.00 we will call you when everything is finished.
The time came for when the bicycle repair and installation was complete.
Our shop called [redacted] to provide the closing cost. Wich came too$603.59 the owner of the shop said we can discount the price by $50.00 making the new and better price $559.49.
[redacted] was very happy when we had given her the price,[redacted] asked the shop again what the price was and if it is lower than the quote.
Our shop said yes its under the $600.00 its under the quote. The total price is $559.49.
[redacted] was very pleased over the phone.
[redacted] made the shop staff believe we did a good job and that we had made [redacted] very happy.
[redacted] arrives at the shop the next day after the phone call.
[redacted] looks at the bicycle and is very excited.
[redacted] said her bicycle looks great thank you so much.
The shop shows [redacted] the bill and [redacted] suddenly looks just right upset and very angry.
[redacted] said as loud as she could im not paying this bill.
[redacted] said this is not what I heard in last nights phone call. [redacted] said I heard you say to me the total bill is $250.00 that's what I heard you(the shop)say.
Our shop replied by saying there was no way the bill was ever told to you at that price,not even the incomplete quote was that low.
Our shop said that we had worked very hard for you,the shop had to drive across the city to keep parts low for you.
how could you mistaken $559.49 to be a $250.00 price there not the same sounding and are completely different.
[redacted] accused the shop of lying to her and of conducting bad business.
[redacted] was aggressive and mean to other clients who visited the shop that day.
[redacted] thretend the shop and the staff working that day,making the shops customers scared and wanting to leave.
What the shop wants is for [redacted] to pick her bicycle up in the same condition [redacted] dropped it off in.
The shop will only charge [redacted] $50.00 for the inconvenience of having to deal with her and the B.B.B.
The shop thanks you for your time.
