Billing office illegally added a week to my lease agreement without notification
On 4/25/office sent an email confirming the end of our lease on 6/9/17.They sent another letter requesting days notice but indicated in some cases a day notice is sufficientWe submitted notice with days noticeThey then extended our lease by a week and charged a rate that was double the agreed pro-rated rate of our contractWe moved out of the unit on the previously agreed upon date and were charged the additional feesNowhere in our contract is there notice that there was a penalty for insufficient noticeAlso, last year when we tried to extend our lease, we were denied the request and had to move out and move into another unit
