Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Yes, MrT [redacted] put that white box which I didn't know what it wantenna on one of the pipes on the roof It was improperly attached to the roof pipe I asked for it to be removed from the pipe as nothing is suppose to be attached to it Obviously the antenna is needed to install an internet connection, why did he not return to properly place it? I waited a few days thinking he would be right out, he did not return When I called him about it later, he had his worker come out and remove it altogether MrT [redacted] did not return to do his work If improperly placing his antenna is installation and setup, then what he did was illegal The antenna, I am sure could have been replaced anywhere else on the roofI asked MrT [redacted] when he was here if it was okay to disconnect my existing internet connection, assuming his internet service was installedHe said no I am the one to be notifying my existing internet provider to disconnect their service at my home when his service was installed Not him He had no jurisdiction to do so The instructions on the application said to call or email I did both After a month of calling, I emailed him twice.Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
I was told NOT to disconnect from my existing internet provider when MrT*** left the day he came to install his internet service. When MrT*** came to my house to install his internet service, a white box was placed on one of the house's exhaust pipes. When I called July 13, 2015, July 14, July 15th, I got no response. On July 16th, I finally spoke to MrT*** personally to voice my concerns about the placement of the white box on the roof and my uncomfortableness with the whole affair and to refund my money. After July 16th I had not heard anything from MrT*** regarding coming out to install the internet again or refund my money. I kept calling to tell him how I felt about the situation. I got nowhere. I felt my concerns were not taken seriously as he kept putting me off and not addressing my concerns. I continued to call July 23rd, July 28th, and again August 5th, in which we had a heated conversation about this subject again. I decided that I was getting nowhere with the phone calls, so I decided to email his webpage as there was no email address on his form to write to, with my continued plea to refund my money. He emailed me back August 10th with his reply. He stated I owed him money to by out a contract that was never fulfilled. Installation and setup never occurred, which he billed for that, and 35% of the value of the service plus next years fee minus 10%. From my concerns voiced starting July 13th through August 6th, nothing was done. As for contacting his office either via email (no email address given) or phone call to end the service, I DID call numerous times and emailed him twice
Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Yes, Mr. T[redacted] put that white box which I didn't know what it was-an antenna on one of the pipes on the roof.  It was improperly attached to the roof pipe.  I asked for it to be removed from the pipe as nothing is suppose to be attached to it.  Obviously the antenna is needed to install an internet connection, why did he not return to properly place it?  I waited a few days thinking he would be right out, he did not return.  When I called him about it later, he had his worker come out and remove it altogether.  Mr. T[redacted] did not return to do his work.  If improperly placing his antenna is installation and setup, then what he did was illegal.  The antenna, I am sure could have been replaced anywhere else on the roof. I asked Mr. T[redacted] when he was here if it was okay to disconnect my existing internet connection, assuming his internet service was installed. He said no.  I am the one to be notifying my existing internet provider to disconnect their service at my home when his service was installed.   Not him.  He had no jurisdiction to do so.  The instructions on the application said to call or email.  I did both.  After a month of calling, I emailed him twice.Sincerely,[redacted]

We had [redacted] installed and had her internet access I was not satisfied with the connection and told [redacted] that I was not satisfied with the speed I wanted to provide her with a faster speed then she was paying for that way in the future if she wanted to increase her speed it would be easy to do so....

I then told her I would install an additional antenna on a closer tower so she would have faster speed. In the time I was putting up the new Antenna she decided to cancel her service in doing so she voided her 2 year contract and I have her the buy out cost to do so. when she canceled her 2 year contract she was no longer qualified for the 10% discount. She did call the shop however the contract states that she needs to cancel via an email. here is her email and the response to it. we have a $189.95 setup & activation fee we all so have a $99 installation fee the installation fee is waived with the 2 year commitment so if you look at her contract you will see she did agree to a 2 year commitment, we had her active and she of her own accord decided to cancel, leaving her responsible for an early termination fee. which is 35% of her contract On August 10, 2015, at 1:41 PM,Merlin T[redacted] <[redacted]@gmail.com>wrote:We received your cancellation of services I will attach your contract, however189.95 is for setup and activation. you went with the 2 year contract for the 5megs at 59.99 that is a total of $1438.80 you receive a 10% discount for payingannually that would be a discount of $143.88 leaving your balance at 1294.92plus the 189.95 for a total cost of $1484.87 you paid 719.41 leaving the$756.46 for the second year of service you have 21 months left in your contractwith you leaving early you will not receive the 10% discount and must buy outthe remainder of your contract for 35% of its value. the total cost of theservice is $59.95 x 23= $1378.825 your buy out of 35% is $482.59 you paid with a check in the total amount of 719.41 of which 198.95 was install fee$99 is for installation and 1 month of service $59.95 for a total cost of$357.95 which leaves $361.46 from the $719.41, Which means in order to buy out your2 year contract you will still need to pay Milton Freewater Computer Repair$124.64 to be released from the contract thank you for your time. please seeattached contract for confirmation of our monthly charges setup &activation fees as well as installation fees and early termination fees  MerlinT[redacted] MiltonFreewater Computer Repair[redacted] Milton Freewater Oregon[redacted] OnThu, Aug 6, 2015 at 2:12 PM, [redacted] <[redacted]@hotmail.com>wrote:DearMilton-Freewater Computer Repair,I am writing this e-mail to let you know I no longer want your internet serviceinstalled at my residence [redacted] Milton-Freewater, Oregonaffective immediately.  The cost for one year service paid June 30, 2015in the amount $719.41.  Please refund the entire amount, $719.41 as ofAugust 6, 2015.[redacted]

Mrs. [redacted] admits herself that we came out and installed the "white box" which is our antenna. It is not my responsibility to disconnect her old internet. Again as stated in our contracts she needed to email us that she no longer wanted our services one that was done we removed the equipment and asset her early termination fee.
