I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I feel as if they are trying to insult me. I've been in the retail business before. I know customer comes first. If someone isn't satisfied with your work, its your duty to try to make the customers happy. Why should I have to pay EXTRA money for them to reassure me that they did a good job. They can keep their ppetty money. To me, they are just a money hungry company and I will tell everyone my experience.

Review: On April 14th, I had called Milwaukee Auto Glass & Sounds LLC, because I heard they could help me with my problem. My boyfriend's brother had called ahead and asked them for a quote and they offered him $150.

The thing was when my bf and I first purchased out car, it had already had a huge crack in the windshield. On April 13th, I went to Safe Lite to get it evaluated and they had told me they couldn't fix my windshield due to rust around the frame of the windshield and they would not be liable for anything to happen if they epoxy did not hold the new windshield on. They had told me to go to a body shop, get the framed grind down and new primer on it. Knowing these new information on my windshield, I had called Milwaukee Auto Glass & Sound to explain the problem. He had assure me that they fix problems like this and all they do is grind the frame of the windshield, prime it and it would only cost $25 dollars extra.

On April 14th after I got off of work, I drove to their shop to get it evaluated quickly. One of the gentleman there had told me that it was possible and would cost only $200 to get the whole thing fix. I had explained to him that there might be rust on the bottom of the windshield where we aren't able to see and all he said to me was, "Don't worry, it's not a big deal. It won't do anything to your car." I was skeptic but continued on on asking him more questions. He had assured me that he would grind the rust off because it's only surface and put a primer on it. The longest it would take would be 2 hours, due to the epoxy. Knowing this information, I took off home and talked to my boyfriend on what they told me.

On April 18th, my boyfriend and I had decided to bring the car in to get the windshield fix. Assuring me that it'll be done in 2 hours and price at $200, we left the car in their car. About an hour later they called us. Shockingly the windshield was done and for us to come and grab it. When I came and grabbed the car, I noticed that the frame of the windshield was only primed and not grind. I was so pissed because we paid extra for them to take car of this problem. Instead all they did was cover the problem area. If we pay $25 for them to just prime the car, I could of done it myself.

I am not satisfied and pretty upset for such a horrible job. I don't know what I'm going to do but I'm not a happy customer.Desired Settlement: I would like them to grind my rusted frame like they told me they would, prime it and credit me back. I took a day off work to get this windshield fixed and in the end they did a horrible job and lied to me. Just because I'm a girl, they took advantage of the opportunity of taking my money.

Hello, As to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint, she was advised that we would remove any rust that the windshield sits on, That was done perfectly, However, her car was rusted in so many other spots that required a body shop to repair. That rust did not impede our ability to perfectly clean the affected area of our work.Ms. [redacted] seems to think that the longer the work takes, the better the outcome is. That's not the case.She was given a lifetime warranty on our labor and that we honor fully, if she has any leaks or air seeping through, we will redo the work or give her a full refund.Ms. [redacted]'s complaint has no basis since she lacks the knowledge or the expertise needed to do this job thinking that we promised 2 hours turn around time meant that it would take us 2 hours to finish it.One final thing, if Ms. [redacted] is willing to pay again for us to remove the windshield and replace it in the event that we prove to her that the rust was completely removed from the affected area, we would be happy to do that, but if the promised work was not done, we will do it again and refund her her money.Thank you very much[redacted]Milwaukee Auto Glass###-###-####

I'm very pleased with my new windshield for my 2004 Mercedes-Benz S430 they are professionals at their job, I read many good things online about them before going to them. and their prices are much lower than their anyone else I called, the workers are very friendly as well. I would recommend Milwaukee Auto Glass to anyone looking to get their glass or windshield replaced.
