Review: I recently bought the property at [redacted] from [redacted]. [redacted] Real Estate. After my home inspection, damage was found to the roof. Mr. [redacted] and I signed a legal document stated the Mr. [redacted] will replace the entire roof of the garage and house by a qualified roofing contractor, prior to our home signing on 4/25/14. Mr. [redacted] hired [redacted] of Milwaukee Home Improvements to replace the roof. According to the receipt, this job was completed 4/4/14 and paid in full. This receipt also states that the work completed on the roof has a 5 year warranty on all labor.

On May 14th, I received an email from my home insurance agent stating, "The inspection company is pointing out the shingles around the chimney need to be tarred down so water cannot get under the shingles, and leak into your ceiling. Please have this work done in the next 30 days."

On May 14th, I contacted [redacted] at ###-###-####, introduced myself as the new homeowner at [redacted]., stated that the shingles around the chimney needed to be tarred and nailed down, and that I am under the impression that this work should be covered under the warranty stated on the original roof repair receipt. Mr. [redacted] agreed and stated that the earliest that he will be able to come and complete this work would be Sunday May 25th in the afternoon. Mr. [redacted] failed to show, in addition, he failed to contact me that he was unable to complete the work on my roof at that time.

I called Mr. [redacted] on Tuesday May 27th to see why failed to show the previous Sunday. He answered but did not give me any excused, he simply just agreed that he failed to show. Mr. [redacted] then stated that he will be able to come to my house on Thursday May 29th. This day came and passed, Mr. [redacted] once again failed to show and complete the work that is covered under my roof's warranty.

I proceeded to call Mr. [redacted] everyday from May 30th through June 9th without hearing from Mr. [redacted]. I was unable to leave a voicemail because the automated system stated that Mr. [redacted]'s voice mailbox was full. I also tried sending a text message to Mr. [redacted], which he failed to respond to.

Finally on June 10th, Mr. [redacted] answered my phone call. I informed him that he fail to come to my house and complete the work that he stated he would do, on two separate occasions. Mr. [redacted] stated, "Your roof problem is not on my priority list." I informed Mr. [redacted] that I have been vary patient and have given him plenty of time to complete this task. Mr. [redacted] then informed me that he will be at my house the following morning, Wednesday June 11th. Mr. [redacted] once again failed to show. He has yet to respond to any of my phone calls.

Mr. [redacted] has:

1. Failed to honor a contract or agreement, in regards to the warranty on all labor to the newly replaced roof

2. Customer service failed to provide assistance, in regards to failing to answer phone calls, responding to text messages, and allowing one to leave a voicemail.

3. The inappropriate behavior by customer service personnel, in regards to stating that my roof issues are not on his priority list.

4. A failure to honor service under the terms of warranties

5. The failure to honor a repair estimate or agreement, in regards to failing to show to complete the work on multiple occasions.Desired Settlement: To have this work completed within 30 day of being notified by my insurance agent, which would be Friday June 13th, 2014. This work needs to be completed ASAP.
