Milwaukee River Cruise Line

Review: Myself and My wife took a Milwaukee river cruise using this company. the cruise was supposed to be for 2 hours.

once on board the cruise , the ship was stationary for over an hour because they were having issues coordinating with city of Milwaukee to get clearance to pass over bridges. once these issues were resolved between the cruise line and the city, the cruise took a short round of lake Michigan and returned back.

we paid for two hours and received a little less than an hour. I called the company and spoke to the manager ([redacted]) , I was told they chose not to do anything about it or even consider compensating their customer for the lost time. My wife was told that she was lying and that no such thing happened.

I wonder why this business is out there because satisfying customers is definitely not a focus. I would like to know why I was treated unfairly and be recompensated for the lost time.

Review: I believe that it is unethical to provide a refund for a service that was not provided. Understandably there are circumstances that are beyond our reach and personal and to not even consider our story is beyond aggravating. We had serious family issues the morning of out trip and all we wanted to do was reschedule and we were not even heard out or assisted with any accommodation. This was booked as an anniversary gift for my husband and myself. The staff was rude, did not care about customer service and at this point all I want is my money back.Desired Settlement: refund 95.04

It is our company's policy to maintain our 72 hour cancellation policy. This policy is mentioned at the time of sale and approved when booked online. This policy enables our company to keep costs down as the appropriate amount of resources are provided ahead of time and is awaiting at the time of departure.

It is unfortunate, and we hope nothing serious happened to this family, but is it important to maintain the policy for both parties.
