I should be entitled to the full price I paid for...

the warranty that the business received back from the warranty people. I paid 42300 and that was added onto my loan and they were refunded $2300. I have been getting the run around for 10 months, and since I paid the $2300, I should be entitled to the $2300 they received back for what I paid for.

I gave them the car for 1 whole week... rented a car and the vehicle is still not fixed.  They want me to carry in the car during a work day once again which I'M TIRED OF DOING but willing to do as long as they provide me with a loaner so I can get to work.. but I'm being told their loaner is out each time...REALLY... THEIR LONER IS OUT FOR A WHOLE MONTH... I  rented a vehicle the last time ...I cant afford to keep doing that and on a week-end their mechanic is not available...They need to refund me back my deposit and take their car back.  If you read the reviews online in regards to this business speaks for itself the underhanded and shady practices of this business. I HAVE BOUGHT THE CAR IN 3 TIMES ALREADY.  Enough is enough....

As far as I know this vehicle has been returned to the customer repaired. We did have difficulty finding parts for a 2004 vehicle but it has been fixed.

Review: I brought a [redacted] Escape 2003 from Mimi Dragone. I had some problems with the vehicle since I purchased the SUV. I brought the car back the first day

day because I had a bad battery in the car. I then brought the car back to them in the middle of Jan. to be checked out because the transmission and brakes were giving me problems.I was told when I brought the truck back in that You brought the car used we can't did that it was going to be perfect but, we will look at it.Twenty minutes later this same guy come back in and tell me that my car is fine.I must of had some air or some dust in the line.April 6th, 2013 I was in my car with my mom and 2 children.I parked my car in my driveway then, my mom turned the key of and a few second after my car jumped into neutral and slide into a parked truck. A few days later on 4/10/13 I brought the car to Mimi Dragone to be fixed. I was told that the transmission had some problems but, we don't fix them it will have to be sent to another location so, I will need to make an appointment to drop it off to be fixed.I asked them if I could just leave it.They told me no.I made the appointment which was for 4/17 or 4/18/13.I went to leave the shop but noticed that the car would not go in gear.After almost getting hit by another car the guy comes out & says "Just leave the car honey I will make sure they take care of it for you.I said Ok and parked the car and took a few items out the car that I could carry.Then I walked to the corner and walked back to ask them if they had a loaner car.I was told No, we don't have loaner car but, we can drop you off at the train station. I said, ok and took the ride.I did not hear from them for two weeks. They told me that they were looking for a new transmission for the [redacted] Escape and they would get back to me.I waited two weeks then called them again this time I was told, We are looking for the best price but, I think we will have it for you by the end of the day today.This was told to me by a woman that answers the phone in the garage.I then called about a week later to make a payment.The only person in the build that can process payments is a woman named [redacted].I called her and made a payment of $160.00. I then received a letter in the mail a few days later saying that my car was being repossess.I called an spoke to [redacted] at this time & asked her why did I get this letter when I just made a payment.I was told that was just a letter sent to me to make my payments.I told [redacted] at this time I just made a payment but because my car is there getting fixed it was hinder me job wise & it was causing me to lose money.I told her it was going to take me sometime to get the money for the payments together she said ok she was going to talk to them.I let her know because I didn't have car my hours had been cut at work.She said ok.She told me not to worry about anything just keep making my payments.I got a call from her that following week she told me my car was ready to be fixed and it was $218.00 fee but, also my brakes needed to be fixed and it would be $250.00 for the parts & $350.00 for the labor.I told her no tell them don't fix it.This was around 5/2/13 that all of this was told to me. I spoke to [redacted] and stayed in constant contact making lump sum payments of $300.00, $400.00 & even today $200.00 payment.I was never told that my car was sold, nor where my personal belongs where.I was told by me making the payment today by [redacted] I could pick the [redacted] Escape up around 12:30 this afternoon.She told me give the guys a few minutes to get it together they were on lunch. I told her ok then, called to get a ride to pick up the car.I went to the deli for lunch while waiting for my ride I got a call around 2:45 from my mother's house and was told that [redacted] was trying to reach me they said it was an emergency.I called and [redacted] answered and said "Did you pick up you truck yet? Sounding very troubled in her voice.I said Not, yet. why? She said, I will call you right back.At 3:15pm today I called her & asked her [redacted], What is going on hun?She said,I am I am very sorry but, they sold your car.Desired Settlement: I would like a vehicle(SUV/Truck) with the same mileage or less for the same low payments. They have made me loss money & clients and this is not fair to me. I am a hard working single parent and do not think any company should do stuff like this to anyone. I am not asking for too much because I know they can do this to make it right.

They called the next day but, I have not heard from them since. They claim that I owe them money I have given them in total including my down payment $4954.74. I am not happy with the way they are handling this. I feel like they take advantage of people and they can careless about the customers they are all about the money they can get. Since coming to you all did not get me a response I am thinking I might need to call a lawyer. This is not how any business should do business. I will be taking this to Facebook.

Miss [redacted] Escape did indeed have a internal transmission failure which was covered by her warranty and was replaced (A $2200 value) at no cost to her other than a $100 deductible. The remaining items we repaired on her vehicle needed to be done, and we received her permission prior to making the repairs. Her vehicle was not worked on quicker because she was late on her payments, and those vehicles get repaired last on the list. We reserve the premium spots for customers with no late balances. As she mentions in her complaint she paid $160, that was double her payments. That explains the delay in repairing her car. Her vehicle was not sold, and remains here to this day. She would need to bring her balance current and pay for the repairs to be replaced in the vehicle.

Review: After waiting a week and several trips to [redacted] from [redacted] from the [redacted] couldn't seem to close the deal on the vehicle.I Told her that we could not wait another a week while she figured things out and that if she couldn't get things straight, I would cancel the deal. August the 15th I called her and told her to cancel the deal and that I would like my down payment back.Today is Monday and I still have no answer.I also called the bridgeport location where I asked to speak to the owner and then received attitude from the representative there.Desired Settlement: I would like my 1200 dollars back for the down Payment

Review: I have received a car with ripped seats. Which [redacted] had told me would be fix and later told me she was waiting for it to come in the mail. I later found out the the ac/ heat doesn't work when I went to the dealer and let them know about my issue the service man told me " you are beautiful you should roll with the window down so every can see your beautiful face". Later I have found that the was all a pipe that is connected to my engine the became lose & with it lose it would cause the care to over heat when I told him about it he told me to come back Monday so it can be fixed. When I got today I seen people coming to complain about the same problem. I have not owned the car for a full week & I am already having major issues with it . When I was only notified about the seats being messed upDesired Settlement: If everything can not be fixed as promised I don't think I should have to pay for it & I should be put in a car that actually is working properly

I financed a 99 [redacted] from mimi dragones in Waterbury Connecticut on 10/10/14 under the agreement that they would service and fix the vehicle for any problems that were noted and not noted in my conversation with them. I was called on 10/16/14 to pick up my vehicle, the one sentence the sales rep told me when he handed me the keys was, "If there's any problems bring it back." Two days later the 99 s[redacted] I purchased over heated on the highway and the motor blew. I told them what happened and they told me to tow it back and theyd fix it. A few days later I payed for the tow from winsted ct to waterbury ct. The sales rep then told me that my car would be fixed within the next two weeks . After telling me my car was being worked on for those two weeks they turned around and told me on the day they said theyd get my car back to me that they did not have any money in the account to fix my vehicle, that there was nothing I could do about it because they arent going to be getting anymore money. The sales representative told me that the best thing I could do was just stop paying and leave the car there. The dealership through this whole time also failed to fix the billing arraingment to match the araingment that we agreed upon . They issued me a deathtrap of a vehicle as a loaner that ended up fishtailing off the road into a tree due to a collapsed suspesion system and a completely out of whack wheel alignment, and I cant sue because I cant afford the price of a expert to look at the car to substantiate the loaner car. My 99 [redacted] is lieing dead in the corner of the empty parking lot that mimi dragone inc used to occupy. They did not notify me that they were closing and never even gave me back the keys to my car that I was still paying for and never contacted me or returned my calls to resolve the issues that they were causing me. I have not been able to contact them in over a month and was now reffered to contact Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I want the title to the 99 [redacted], the keys to it, I want the car towed to my house or a garage . Mimi Dragones has renaged on almost every service they were supposed to offer to me and did offer to me so I would also request that all my contracts with Mimi Dragone to be severed.

Review: My car engine blew at the end of nov. I gave them 1500 for them to put another engine in. The engine they brought I was told by the mechanic who put it in, that it was no good and that they need to get another one. I was told this since January. Today 4/1/2013 I was told by the mechanic that the engine was put in he still feels that the engine should be replace but he would not be able to release the car until he gets paid by MiMi Dragone. MiMi advised me that they were only going to pay a certain amount which they will cut a check for 650.00 on Friday. If the charges are more than that then I will have to pay the rest. Which I don't think that is fair since they brought the engine. And they cant even tell me the amount the mechanic is charging them.

Desired Settlement: I either want the 1500.00 that I gave Mimi Dragone for the engine and they can keep the car. Or Mimi Dragone pay the full balance the mechanic is asking for, and I get my car back which I will then continue to pay the bi weekly payments for the car and also for the labor for the repairs to put the engine in which was to be put on the back end of my remaining balance of the car.

Review: IN MAY 2010 I PURCHASED A CAR FROM MIMI DRAGONE. I RECENTLY CHECKED MY CREDIT AND SAW THAT THERE WAS AN OUTSTANDING BALANCE FROM THEIR BUSINESS . I CALLED AROUND SEPTEMBER AND ASKED FOR A COPY OF MY FILES STATING THE AMOUNT OF THE CAR , HOW MUCH I PAID , AND ANY OTHER PAPER WORK THAT WAS PERTAINING TO ME . WHEN I PUT THE FIRST DOWN DEPOSIT ON THE CAR I WAS TOLD THAT I COULDN'T RECEIVE IT BACK DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE TIME IT TOOK ME TO GET THE $2000. HOWEVER , I PROCEEDED AND RECEIVED THE CAR AFTER ABOUT 3 WEEKS BECAUSE THEY WERE HAVING ISSUES WITH IT PASSING EMISSIONS. FURTHERMORE ,FROM THE DAY I RECEIVED THE CAR IT WAS A ISSUES , SO I CALLED THEM AND TOLD THEM TO COME GET THEIR CAR. Review: I purchased a 2006 [redacted] from MiMi Dragone. I traded in a 2005 [redacted], I owed money on the [redacted]. When the care was traded in, they sent in an initial payment to pay the car off, then stopped the payment on the check and re-issued a new check with a lesser amount leaving $750.00 still owed on the car. My credit is now reflecting a repossession. they have already sold the car. I have tried for 2 and a half years to get this straightened out and I am now in a bad position with my credit due to the negligence of MiMi Dragone.Desired Settlement: I require them to hold up their end of the contract and pay off my car loan.

Review: My car has never been registered to me, it's been over 30 days.Desired Settlement: Provide a valid registration when the car is driven off the lot. It's over 30 day and I'm driving with an expired loaner agreement.

Review: the vehicle is a lemom...I have returned it numerous times for repair and the problem still exists...I even rented a car to take me to work while I left the car for a whole week to be repaired and the problems with the car still exists...check engine lights still comes on now and then... the acceleration of the vehicle is slow..the noise heard when driving is still there and it keeps being unable to start now and then...I have only had the car for 7 wks and I have bought the car in for apoximately 2 wks in total...they wont give me my money back....From the beginning I had to return the car in after 1wk!! I'm told by the sales rep their loaner car is out and the owner when I finally got to talk to him was rude... Impolite and he said he doesn't talk to crazy people and that he does not have loaner cars while my vehicle is being repaired... I just graduated from college and got a job in Danbury thats why my mom purchased this car for me...but its been a nightmare ever since... we rented a car for $314 +$200 deposit a total of $514.00 for the week...I was not able to pay that.. my mom did and she is struggling... we are not made of money... these people keeps giving us the run around...please help...I got the car on 8-21-14.Desired Settlement: I wish for my deposit to be refunded back to me so I can go to another reputable dealership... Review: June 17,2013 I went to Mimi dragone on [redacted] ave to bring $100.00 in cash as a deposit, on June 28,2013 I brought $400.00 on debit card to add to my previous deposit , that day I had the option of looking at 2 vehicles 2006 Honda accord & a 2007 Honda accord, I picked out the 2006 Honda accord & was told when I came in with the rest of my down payment which was going to be another $500.00 on July 12,2013 that I could get that particular vehicle. On July 11,2013 I went back to Mimi Dragone to bring my paper work( pay stubs,light bill, other proof of income & etc.) when I got there at 10:30 am I was informed that I wouldn't be able to get the car due to the short amount of time on my job, & that I could do "buy here pay here"& I was told that I could wait on the person that I previously had spoken to through the weeks, I was offered cars that were not worth financing!, at 2:00pm the woman that I had origanally been speaking to arrived,I asked her when I could pick up my refund she said Tuesday July, 16,2013 due to owner being on vacation and that he was the only one that can sign the checks,I returned Tuesday on the 16th & I was told that the refund was not there, I was told that refunds were only disbursed Friday, I pursueded by calling the cops, (was told to wait until Friday)! On Friday July 16th 2013 I went for my check , the secretary at Mimi Dragone informed me that the check had been mailed out and that I could swipe my card for the other $400.00, I swiped my card and was told that it would be on my card MondaY july 21,2013 or Tuesday July 22,2013 the latest! Returned home to find a check from Mimi Dragone for 100.00, preceded to cash it & I couldn't due to big stamp on the back that states" deposit in payees account only" I don't have a bank account,! Called them & they told me only the women in the Bridgeport mi mi Dragone on [redacted] ave could handle my check, tried calling her, left a message & was told she was on vacation until wensday ! Still haven't recieved my money!

Desired Settlement: I would like my refund back, I paid 100.00 dollars in cash & 400.00 dollars on my credit card! I have all my receipts & I made copies of everything, for proof.

I have read over the response & information that the Buisness has provided, I recieved the 400.00 back on my debit card on the date of 7-20-2013, I have not been able to cash the 100.00 dollar check that was given to me from this Buisness, I am unable to sign it over for anyone else to cash due to the fact that the Buisness has a stamp on the back of my check that says " To be deposited in payees account only" so no banks will take or cash this check because it can only be deposited into my account! I do not have a bank account, I would like to give this check back to the Buisness & I would like them to give me another check with no stamp on the back or my 100.00 dollars back to me in cash!!!

Review: In 2013, I purchased a 2006 [redacted] from the dealer. When I purchased the vehicle, I was told by the dealer that I would have to purchase a warranty for $2300.00 that would be added to the price of the truck and added onto my loan amount. I agreed he told me that the warranty covered everything from bumper to bumper. The warranty also included the price of a rental car if I needed one. Early this year I had an issue with my brakes and made several tries to get an appointment with the dealer to repair them. My brakes got o bad that they were grinding very badly. I took the truck to the dealer and he told me that he had no mechanic and to get it repaired somewhere and they would reimburse me the cost minus the $100 deductible I got them repaired and it cost me over $800.00 and I had to rent a car for a day. I have been trying to get reimbursed for over 8 months now to no avail. Finally I got in touch with the manager in their [redacted] location and he said that he would look into it. His name is [redacted]. When he got back to me, he explained that the warranty issuer had refunded the $2300 back to the dealer. He told me just to fax in all the paperwork to [redacted] in [redacted] nd I would get my money back for the repairs and the rental.Desired Settlement: I have not received one penny and I think that I should be entitled to the $2300.00 that I paid for the policy that the dealer was refunded.

I am rejecting this response because:

I should be entitled to the full price I paid for the warranty that the business received back from the warranty people. I paid 42300 and that was added onto my loan and they were refunded $2300. I have been getting the run around for 10 months, and since I paid the $2300, I should be entitled to the $2300 they received back for what I paid for.
