Review: On January [redacted], 2014, I purchased two tickets for a Minecraft Convention to be held in New York City, on July [redacted], 2014. On July [redacted] the operating company Mine-O-Rama cancelled the event with 5 days notice. They have been silent since the cancellation notice was posted to their website ([redacted]) on July [redacted] except for some twitter messages indicating they will be providing updated dates and venue information "In the coming weeks" It has now been nearly 3 weeks with no information on refund procedures, nor on the updated dates for the event.Desired Settlement: I request a refund for the ticket purchase price and a public apology from the owner of the corporation.

Review: This company scheduled an event and collected ticket price up front. They postponed event with no further info other than they ran out of funds to put on event. This info came from [redacted] event planner. I drove from Florida to NYC for this event and cannot come to "postponed date" that has not been revealed. Any requests about refunds are unanswered.Desired Settlement: Refund of full ticket purchase.

Review: I purchased three tickets for a total of $450.00 from an online company advertising an MineORama gaming convention taking place at the [redacted] on July ** and [redacted]. The company sent an email on July [redacted] that stated the event was cancelled and they shut down the web site. I have found out that an office was never at [redacted], the [redacted] received many inquires about having a MineORama convention, but it was not a scheduled event and that a group was selling tickets at a booth at the pier. I can send all emails from this company when I get a [redacted].Desired Settlement: $450.00 refund

Review: We bought three tickets to attend Mine-O-rama, which was supposed to be held July ** - July **, 2014, in New York City. Each ticket cost $150 ($450 total). As the date approached I checked the website for the schedule of events, and it was never posted. I sent an email to the address listed ([redacted]) and asked about the schedule and never received a response. A few days before the convention I checked online again, and saw the event had been cancelled. The organizers promised to reschedule, though they didn't say for when. They also stated that information regarding refunds would be in a future email, though that never occurred, either. When I go to the website now, it has been taken down and there is no way to get in touch with them. My son and his friend were heartbroken about not being able to go, and I am furious. I'm furious that the kids were so disappointed by these hucksters, and also furious that they have taken off with my $450, which I doubt I'll ever see again.Desired Settlement: I am entitled to a refund of $450, which was charged to my credit card for the three tickets. That is the desired outcome. Along with their prosecution for fraud.

Review: I purchased a pair of tickets (on January **, 2014) to the Mineorama event that was scheduled 7/**-7/**/14. Each ticket was $150 for a total of $300. The company sent out newsletter emails several times leading up to the event. Then - 5 days prior to the event - the company sent out an email that due to unforseen circumstances - the event was postponed to a later date. They did not provide a later date within that email. It is now August *. The last email received from the company was 7/**/14. There has been no notification of a rescheduled event. There has also been no communication of how to receive a refund. Their website is now unavailable. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge - but was told the window of opportunity to dispute was already past. They suggested I file a complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would love to see a refund. But I would also love to see if this company is legitimate. It sounds to me like a huge scam and that someone made off with a ton of money. If they are legitimate - they need to communicate to their customers how to receive a refund. If it is a scam - they should be caught & ordered to repay.

Review: Mineorama advertised and sold tickets for an event this weekend, July [redacted] and [redacted] to be held at Pier [redacted]. They just sent out an email announcing it is canceled with no info about refunds, etc. and no explanation. I spent $1200+ on a non refundable hotel reservation. They sold 3000 at $150 or more per person. That sounds like a 4.5+ million dollar fraud to me. They say they are going to reschedule but not when. We bought our tickets months ago.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund and my hotel costs covered.

Review: Paid $150 a ticket for 2 tickets to the MIneorama convention that was supposed to take place on July ** and [redacted]. Five days before the event it was cancelled. The company was supposed to reschedule and offer refunds starting 2 weeks after. Since then, the website has shut down and they will not respond to emails or phone calls. Because I paid for the event with an AMEX gift card, I cannot file a dispute with my credit card company. This event was geared towards children.Desired Settlement: A full refund for myself and anyone else who purchased tickets. Legal action against the [redacted] of Mineorama for fraud.

Review: This company cancelled a two day event (7/** & 7/**) and has not provided a means to collect refunds. I purchased two tickets and there has been no further communication on how to obtain our funds or if there is an alternate day to reschedule the cancelled event.
