Good morningI disagree with Mine Road's statement which indicated that when I came in they asked me if I wanted the waist to be hemmed due to the fact that one of the waist size was biggerWhen I initially came in on 8/21/15, the female worker did not make any mention of the fact that there was a requirement to adjust the waist on one of the pants, and that the hemming length would be affected by the waist sizeThe first time that I was made aware of the waist size issue was on 8/25/15, when I returned to pick up the pantsIt was at that time that a different female worker made the comment about the waist Further, wearing a belt does not correct the issue with the extra length on the affected pair of pantsAfter reading Mine Road's response, I contacted [redacted] ***, as both suits were ordered from their online siteI discussed this matter with a representative and was advised that, if properly hemmed, the pants' lenght would not be affected by the waist sizeThe [redacted] representative advised me to take the pants into a local [redacted] retailer to have it fixed Since Mine Road has indicated that if I bring back the pants to them to fix, it will be made much shorter, in essence they will ruin my pantsThat is not acceptable to meAs such, I would like a refund of my $as it will cost me additional monies to have the hemming fixed correctly at a [redacted] retailer [redacted] cell: [redacted]

To Revdex.com, Please see our response regarding the complaint. When the customer came in with the two pair pants to be hammed, the two pants had two different waist sizes. The first pair had a waist that fitted him and the second pair had a waist that was big for
him. When we measured the second pant that he is complaining, we told him that the waist was big on him and asked him if he wants us to the waist too. He said no. So, we pinned the waist to the correct place and measured the length. If he wears a belt with the pants, the length should be correct. The second pair looks longer because he tried it without a belt. With out a belt the waist falls below his waist line so the length will look longer. If he wants us to make it shorter, we can. However, after we make it shorter and wears a belt with the pants, the length would be lot shorter. We can always make it shorter but once it becomes short, we can't make it longer. If the customer understands the situation, he can bring his pants back and we will make it shorter. Thank you,Mine Road Cleaners

I recently purchased flooring for my home and am preparing it to sell. I encountered a problem with the floor I requested while it was being installed so the Owner, Mr. S[redacted], personally corrected the issue and he and his wife worked with me to resolve the issue in a prompt and timely manner. Both are very professional, caring and friendly people. I would highly recommend Carpet Express and am extremely pleased with the work that was done in my home.

Our policy is to always ask the customer if they want it laundered or dry cleaned.  When [redacted] bought in his clothing and we ask him if he wanted his clothing laundered or dry cleaned, he responded by...

saying laundered.  When a shirt is laundred it is machine pressed.  So sometimes it might have a button press mark, which is not a stain.  The button press mark occurs when the otherside of the shirt with the holes for the buttons is on top of the side of the clothing that has the buttons and the machine presses down.  Ideally, we try not to have it happen that way, but it does happen sometimes.  We believe that this was the issue with [redacted]'s shirt.  There was no black stain on the shirt that we inspected.  It was a press mark of a button.

Also the price for the laundry is cheaper than the dry cleaning.  We explanined to him when a shirt is dry cleaned, there is no button mark since it's hand pressed.  After I explained it to him, he asked it to be dry cleaned.  So, we charged him for the dry cleaning. When he saw the receipt he asked why we charged him for the dry cleaning.  So we told him since the dry cleaning price is more than the laundry price.  Then he got mad and just took the shirt and left saying that he will never come back.
However, if he does not want to get it dry cleaned, we can just do a touchup press and remove the button spot.
To satisfy him, we can remove the button press mark by just touching up that area without dry cleaning since he does not want it to be dry cleaned.
He can bring it back and we will repress that spot and remove it.

Thank you,

Good morning. I disagree with Mine Road's statement which indicated that when I came in they asked me if I wanted the waist to be hemmed due to the fact that one of the waist size was bigger. When I initially came in on 8/21/15, the female worker did not make any mention of the fact that there was a requirement to adjust the waist on one of the pants, and that the hemming length would be affected by the waist size. The first time that I was made aware of the waist size issue was on 8/25/15, when I returned to pick up the pants. It was at that time that a different female worker made the comment about the waist.  Further, wearing a belt does not correct the issue with the extra length on the affected pair of pants. After reading Mine Road's response, I contacted [redacted], as both suits were ordered from their online site. I discussed this matter with a representative and was advised that, if properly hemmed, the pants' lenght would not be affected by the waist size. The [redacted] representative advised me to take the pants into a local [redacted] retailer to have it fixed.  Since Mine Road has indicated that if I bring back the pants to them to fix, it will be made much shorter, in essence they will ruin my pants. That is not acceptable to me. As such, I would like a refund of my $12 as it will cost me additional monies to have the hemming fixed correctly at a [redacted] retailer.   [redacted]cell: [redacted]

Review: I have been using this cleaners for years and have had questionable service in the past. I kept on using them out of convenience. As of today I will no longer user their service. Last week I dropped off several dress shirts to be laundered. In my bundle I had a brand new white dress shirt ($[redacted]$). I picked up the shirts on Friday and when I removed the shirt from the plastic I notices black marks on the front of the shirt in the shape of a button. I returned the shirt to the cleaners to have them remove the black marks and they said they could try to dry clean the shirt in order to remove the marks. I told them this was a new shirt and It has never been warn also their cleaning tag was still attached. The lady/owner handed me the receipt and I noticed a charge for dry cleaning was on the receipt. I asked her why there is a charge and she said because they will have to dry clean the shirt. I said I should not be charged because I already paid to get the shirt cleaned and they potentially have ruined my new expensive shirt. She would not budge and basically ignored me, I told her her to return the shirt to me and I would NEVER come back here for business again! Other issues I have had with them in the past include broken buttons on shirts that they charge you to replace even though it's their equipment that breaks the buttons. Grease stains on clothing that they caused and a long turn-around time for cleaning. Overall they run a poor business and are not willing to correct their mistakes.Desired Settlement: I would like them to repair my dress shirt or refund the cost of the shirt: $135.00 retail, I purchased it on sale for $54.97.

Review: I took in two new dress pants on 8-21-15 to have hemmed with a cuff at the bottom. I tried on both pants using the same shoes and the representative measured each pants. I was told that the items would be ready on 8/25/15 for pick-up and each pants would cost $12, for a total of $24. On 8/25/15, I picked up the pants, but tried each on in the store first to ensure the hemming was done correctly. I also wore the same shoes that I had used on 8/21/15 when I initially took the pants in. One pants was correct but the other had extra length showing near the bottom, about an inch to an inch and a half, just above the ankle area. I showed the female representative the problem and asked if she could rectify it. She was unwilling and kept telling me that the pants was fine. She then spoke to a gentleman that was working there and he also told me that there was nothing wrong. There was a male customer who came into the store and paid for his items, at which point I showed him the pants and he looked at the area that I indicated had not been hemmed properly and he advised me that it did in fact have extra length. I tried in vain to ask the female representative to fix the hemming but she refused, and continued to tell me that the pant length was fine. I would like to either have the store fix the problem or refund me the $12 that I paid for the hemming. If they are unwilling to fix the hemming, I will take the pants to another establishment to have the problem corrected. Seeing that I would then incur additional costs, it it not fair to have had to pay Mine Road $12 for unsatisfactory work.

By way of background, this is the second time that I have encountered this type of problem with the cleaners. The first time I just shook it off and I did not file a previous complaint. At this point, I feel compelled to file a complaint as I would like this matter addressed.Desired Settlement: The desired outcome is to have the pants hemmed properly or for the store to issue me a $12 refund.
