Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below that response is all a liethe guy who repair my vehicle speaks poor English and he couldn't explain to me why the $chargeI was never offered itemized receipt and, I my car was leaking the next day after the repair was donewhen I called him right away, he wants me to take the car back to him when the car wasn't even drivable due to the leakwhat kind of mechanic wants someone to drive a car when he knows it has a antifreeze leakI have an estimate from an certified [redacted] repair shop, willing to give me a letter to the judge in case we go to court, complete cost of the parts and labor .I'm not letting this guy take advantage of people like me or anyone else [redacted]

Re: complaint #*** filed 1/28/by *** ***Response to the customers statement of the problem:Dispute of the facts, mechanic never stated " not too expensive to repair” Estimate of repair can only be given after the problem is determined.The next day after the car was
examined and problem was discovered the repair was quoted for $ Customer gave a verbal authorization over the phone for the repair.Customer acknowledged and accepted that special order parts needed to be acquired. Customer was informed that the repair may take up to two days depending upon obtaining the parts. At the time of the pick up of the car, the mechanic as usual showed the customer the remaining bits of plastic housing connectors that had deteriorated away in the car.These were the items that were replaced.At this time, the customer asked for an estimate of parts…I told the customer I already gave you an estimate and you authorized it .The customers statement is a bit confusing…The customers later statement is "….I asked for estimate with parts and prices….” is erroneous, since the customer had already authorized the repair knowing the special order parts were required.At this point the car was already repaired per the customers urgent request The customer was directed to go pay at the counter and he did Customer failed to pick up the itemized receipt The next day, the customer did call and say there was a problem, a leak.I told him to come right over The customer did NOT return for two days.When the customer finally returned, customer claimed a clamp was missing.Upon visual inspection , in fact, his clamp was there, however, it was broken off Simply, it was just another deteriorated clamp on his car that let go afterwards.The newly broken clamp was not part of my repair.At this point, the customer suggested that I pay him $so that he does not report me to B.B.B.I did not engage his extortion conversation, he left.Further, the customer contends he stopped by for an itemized receipt after speaking with another mechanic who could perform the repair for less.This did not happen.However, an itemized receipt is always available, this is separate from the credit card slip.We have been in business for years with quality work, we are local Town garage that cares for our customers.We take offense to any allegation of theft.Sincerely, *** ***

I was never offered itemized receipt and, I my car was leaking the next day after the repair was done. when I called him right away, he wants me to take the car back to him when the car wasn't even drivable due to the leak. what kind of mechanic wants someone to drive a car when he knows it has a antifreeze leak. I have an estimate from an certified [redacted] repair shop, willing to give me a letter to the judge in case we go to court, complete cost of the parts and labor .I'm not letting this guy take advantage of people like me or anyone else.
