Complaint: [redacted] filed on 8/27/2015Minersville Auto Sales, LLC [redacted]Minersville, PA [redacted]Their Response of Complaint dated 9/8/2015Kadi-Ann StewartRevdex.comI am rejecting this response because:[redacted] Andrew Reber did in fact purchase a 1992 [redacted] from Minersville Auto Sales,LLC on 2/3/2015 for approximately $7000.00. [redacted] Andrew Reber did indeed trade for $4200 a 2004 [redacted] Liberty owned by [redacted] but was given to Kevin. [redacted] spoke to and agreed to sign the title over to Clayton Andrews III at Minersville Auto Sales, LLC. Which is why Minersville Auto Sales LLC excepted the 2004 [redacted] Liberty and was able to sell, making money on said vehicle. As far as [redacted] calling and harrassing Minersville Auto Sales, LLC is untrue it was actually her sisters in her family. Them calling Minersville Auto Sales would be considered harrassment and should be handled by them in such way. The 2004 [redacted] Liberty was given to [redacted] Andrew Reber by [redacted] because she was unable to drive anymore due to health problems. All of which is not the point of this complaint. The complaint lies with the fact that [redacted] Andrew Reber purchased the 1992 [redacted] from Minersville Auto Sales and drove it for approximately 5 short months. I apologize  for the exact date that we went up to Minersville Auto Sales, LLC but it was around the end of June begining of July 2015. The vehicle moved around a few times his mechanic and our mechanic proving there were issues with the motor. It was delivered by [redacted] Andrew Reber to Bernville Auto Parts on 7/8/2015 which they discovered there was indeed a problem with the heads of the motor. Which the cost to fix them was $593.82 which Minersville Auto Sales did write a check to Bernville Auto Sales but what he neglected to say was that it was put into the loan at CACL  1800 West Market St, Pottsville, PA 17901 for the 2011 [redacted] 200 Account #152594-02. Then after taking it to our mechanic it was discovered that there was an issue with the frame, at the time we thought it was only cracked. It was not taken there to be inspected, he had it inspected through his mechanic, at that time it was known there was an issue with the frame , it was taken there to be fixed.  On 7/22/2015 tags were purchased for the 1992 [redacted] totaling $60.00. We did also receive a check for $500.00 on 7/22/2015 the day the 2011 [redacted] 200 was also purchased from Minersville Auto Sales. Which once again he neglected to add was also put into the loan of the 2011 [redacted] 200 Account #152594-02. Which by the way a vehicle with a cracked (and or now a rotted) frame cannot be sold in the State of Pennsylvania, it is against the law. Given that fact he also made us pay for it to be fixed, you would think under the circumstances Minersville Auto Sales, LLC could of at least paid for that. Which at one point Minersville Auto Sales, LLC agreed to pay for it. To skip ahead to understand the chain of events on 8/6/2015 the 1992 [redacted] was dropped at our mechanics to fix the cracked frame. After taking the box off the frame of the 1992 GMS [redacted] he discovered the frame was not only cracked it was rotted. The frame was no longer able to be fixed. Then moving back to 7/22/2015 the day of purchasing the 2011 [redacted] 200 he also asked [redacted] Andrew Reber to sign a waiver for the 1992 [redacted], my husband has had many brain injuries and gets confused easily. I did not think he should sign the waiver myself because the repairs on the engine and the frame were not fixed yet. So I asked Clayton Andrews III if these repairs would be handled prior to him signing this waiver. He said "Oh yes they will be taken care of". I was very concerned about this waiver so I also verified it with Deborah George, the one that handled the paper work for the vehicles. When I had to bring our 2011 [redacted] 200 back the very next day, 7/23/2015 to Minersville Auto Sales due to a problem with the catalytic converters because the engine light went on. I probably hadn't driven the car more then 25 miles. Another light went on also at the same time which was Oil Change Required, Clayton Andrews III said the oil had been changed, it appears that it wasn't because two mechanics tried to reset it and couldn't. But back to the waiver Deborah George guaranteed us when I said I was concerned about the waiver signed by [redacted] Andrew Reber she said "Dont worry about it, we'll take care of you." Minersville Auto Sales, LLC mentioned in their response after writing us out these two checks of our money since they had been paid through CACL on 7/22/2015 that it would "release them of any more liability of the truck" these repairs occurred before that waiver was signed with the intention of these problems being fixed. Then "releasing them of any more liability on the truck, not to mention with their "guarantee and good will". Do they not take any pride in the vehicles they have on their lot and a committment to their customers who buy them? We trusted them and even though [redacted] signed that waiver we felt as though we would be taken care of. All the times we were in there and it was alot. He would tell us these stories of how well they took care of their customers. Turns out [redacted] Andrew Reber bought a lemon from Minersville Auto Sales. On 8/17/2015 Duane Hunsicker from Penn-Dot came to inspect the 1992 [redacted] at our mechanics and said that the truck did not pass inspection on three counts: the cracked/rotted frame, the emergency brake was not connected/working and the front bumber was rusted through. He took the inspection sticker off the vehicle and wrote a report of his findings. At this point we have ahigher loan on the 2011 [redacted] 200 of $47.00 that will take 7 years to pay off and a $100.00-2 yr loan for the 1992 [redacted], it just hardly seems fair. Although Clayton Andrews III is one of those smooth talking salesman that at one point offered to pay [redacted] Andrew Reber $4500.00-6 months after buying the 1992 [redacted] for roughly $7000.00 and thought that was fair. Plus he would of also received 4 brand new tires that cost $862.00 because when the 1992 [redacted] was sold to [redacted] Andrew Reber the tires weren't very good. Plus a $279.00 stereo and speakers because the stereo didn't work. Minersville Auto Sales mentioned a few other vehicles we were interested in purchasing along with the 2011[redacted] 200. The 2008 [redacted] mentioned that we were interested in the upper and lower ball joints needed to be replaced and the rim was bent on the drivers side rear tire, discovered by our mechanic. There was also I think it was a 2005 [redacted] Truck we also looked at but after taking it to his mechanic he discovered the frame was rotted and he said he said he couldn't sell it to us. Guess it was ok to sell the 1992 [redacted] though without him having any remorse.

Review: I was under the impression that I was purchaseing a White 01 Chevy Cavalier at the price of $3995 with a trade on my vehicle of $200. After signing papers which were presented without showing information and not given the time to read I went out to vehicle which another employee was going over the difference between the vehicle I had and the one I purchased, it was a silver 01 Chevy Cavalier with high milage. After the salesman came back with the registration, they said to bring the vehicle back as there was not inspection sticker on vehicle. I was feeling ill and just wanted to get out of there and drove off. I just felt like it was a swammy bait and switch deal. Now I am worried that when I go back I will have to pay extra for the inspection and what is wrong with the vehicle. They said that it has a 3 month warrantee. Also, there see** to be something wrong in the steering. The price of the silver car was $4280 minus $200 trade-in. Also the bank told me my loan was signature and I would get the title. They did not give me the title.Desired Settlement: I think they should go over the paper work with buyers, so there is no misunderstanding about what is being bought and not be rushed out the door, with a switcheroo.

Dear **. [redacted],

On November 15, [redacted] stopped by our business to look; at vehicles. She owned a 1998 White Chevrolet Cavalier and stated she couldn't get her car inspected because it has a rotted frame. She opted to test drive two vehicles that day. The first was a white Taurus that was $3995, of which [redacted] stated was too big. The second was a 2001 Silver Cavalier that was $4495, of which [redacted] purchased on November 16. She received trade value of $200 on her 1998 white Cavalier and an additional discount of $200 on the 2001 silver Cavalier she purchased, Our inventory did not contain, nor consist of a white Cavalier at the time [redacted] was at our business. The vehicle [redacted] purchased was already scheduled for inspection and taken care of, including power steering fluid. [redacted] did not have to pay one penny toward any repairs and is driving the vehicle. Title work in the State of Pennsylvania can take up to 90 days to process.
