Sep 24, 2014**. [redacted];Hi [redacted] this is Bob C[redacted] the owner of insulators home exteriors. my company received a complaint yesterday from a customer named [redacted] complaint number ID [redacted]. We installed a driveway for [redacted] in 2011 the driveway the came with a...

one-year warranty on workmanship and product even though that was the warranty on the paperwork, I was going to come out and work with [redacted] to see if we can resolve the problem. The first time I talked to [redacted] was last week on Thursday, September 18, 2014. I explained to him that I was out of the office and will be happy to come out and look at his job with my manager on Monday, September 22nd . [redacted] said that I had failed to respond as stated, I did show up as stated and did observe the driveway. Upon observation of the driveway I noticed it was doing what I had explained to [redacted] that is spalling due to salt form the roads getting on the driveway. To start the process rolling I explained to John my manager to call CSC concrete and have them come out and do a stress test on the product to make sure that it was not faulty. I'm going to attach an article written by the concrete network of the issues of spalling how to repair it, although I have never tried this solution before I will research it to see if it will work to repair this for [redacted]'s driveway. We work very hard here trying to keep all of our customers happy although this driveway problem is really not mine it's due to the ice melt put on the street by the county I will work with [redacted] to try to resolve this issue. This driveway installation involved getting a permit from the county for the apron, the county inspector came out looked at the mix sheet and approved all work done by my company. It's very unfortunate that this complaint is going to be on my record, it really had nothing to do with the workmanship on the job.Sincerely Bob C

personal property. Further discussions between Mr. [redacted] and the file handler regarding these storms included an explanation that damage caused by floods, surface water, overflow of streams or other bodies of water are not covered. We were unable to communicate our basis for this position to Mr. [redacted] satisfaction. In an effort to ensure whether coverage could still be afforded, it was determined that we would assign this claim for further handling including an inspection of the facility where the reported damaged occurred. Later on the 14th the file handler assigned this loss for an on-site inspection of the facility to an independent appraisal company. We also emailed Mr. [redacted] to inform him that we had assigned his claim for further handling, including an inspection of the facility and that an estimator would be contacting him. The assignment was confirmed (on July 14th 2015) the same day. We are currently awaiting their findings.  [redacted] Vice PresidentMarketing & CommunicationsChief Marketing Officer

Review: It all started in Nov. 2014 when I decided to rent a storage unit at Adams County Self-Storage. I was hastily sold a MiniCo policy, which I thought at the time was a wise investment since I was unsure of how long I would need the storage unit. I read the one-page document that you sign, which is titled “Tenant Responsibility Rental Agreement Addendum.” One line that sticks out—and is underlined—is that the policy covers “against burglary, storms, smoke, fire, earthquake, lightning, rodents and more.” Fast-forward to July 2015. The [redacted] metro area has seen some very severe storms with torrential rainfall. It ends up that items in my unit were damaged due to a STORM that moved through the area, which I firmly believe is covered in the addendum that I signed. I called to file a claim and was told that the damages incurred during a severe rain STORM are not covered and that storms in this policy refer to “wind”. To add insult to injury, the claims adjuster added that I should have asked for clarification about what storms meant when I took out the policy, which is difficult since “neither the storage company nor the leasing representative is an insurance agent.” In addition to the claims complaint, I never received any additional information from the insurance company regarding policies or further coverage information.Desired Settlement: Replacement of damaged furniture.
